I bought this game because it caught my eye due to ricks comic
And what I have to say is that it is pretty fun
Its game play reminds me of pokemon a little
You are able to have up to 6 digimon to a team but only able to use 3 during a battle
You start out as a normal tamer and get to choose a partner out of 3 choices
When you finish certain missions given to you, your rank will go up and you will get more benefits like additional digifarms and stronger digimon
To get digimon to join, you need to get more than 100% scan data on that digimon from battling them in the wild. When enough data accumulated, you go to your digifarm and you digivert them to join your team, you can also let them roam on your digifarms to lvl up, and when you buy certain things for the digifarm, it helps certain stats of the digimon on the digifarm to grow
The battle style is easy to figure out. It consists of: attack, move, item and flee. Its a turn based battle and when your digimon attacks depends on the speed of the digimon. you have a 5 field zones which you can choose where your digimon stand. Certain attacks can attack 1 zone, 2 zones, 3 zones (I have only seen 3 zone attacks so far). Items are just like pokemon like hp healers and so on and so on. Flee, well all of you know what this means.
To digivolve your digimon. You need to meet the standards of the evolution and manually digivolve them. Most digimon just digivolve by being at a certain lvl. But others need certain number in a stat like 80 dragon, 10 holy or 65 def. Even with digivolving, you can also de digivolve back if you wanted to get a different digimon that are obtainable only in a earlier stages
When you get bored of just battling the computer, hook up to a wifi signal and battle a friends digimon. You can even trade digimon if you wanted.
So far I'm a Silver tamer with a lvl 24 Greymon (champion), lvl 27 Ikakumon(champion), lvl 24 Angemon (champion), lvl 29 Dinobeemon (ultimate), and lvl 20 Geogreymon (champion).
And when I find out more about this game, I will post it.
