Something as mild as Animal Crossing, where the worst that can happen in the game is being stung by bees, put into a large fighting game with explosions, violence, and flammable characters? As hilarious as that would be, he gives a strong point.

Pokemon Trainer got in. Pikachu got in. They're both from games where the worst that can happen is you FAINT.
Mario comes from a game where you jump on TURTLES and MUSHROOMS.
Kirby...inhales stuff and rides on a star...
In a game like Smash, there's really nothing that DOESN'T fit in. Disagree? These 2 words might change your mind.
Solid Snake.

The less something fits in, the more it does.

That's a strong point too, but think about it. Mario incinerates Bowser in the early games by means of molten lava, those wind up toys in Super Mario World, and squahes numerous amounts of Goombas. Those Mario games incite lots of violence, especially fire Mario. Pokemon is basically animal cruelty in the form of cute creatures that can only say their names. I haven't really played any Kirby games, so..... I have nothing on him. My point was that Animal Crossing would be...incompatible. I suppose after thinking about how some of those characters even got into a Smash Bros game, it might not be too surprising if Animal Crossing got in there too after all. (The main characters' "Net attack" and ax swing is something to be a-feared of!)
