At the moment there are currently 4 official rules of the forum:
What I'm suggesting is a rules discussion thread and perhaps, if Recon is too busy, someone who has the power to edit the rules. If the thread is created i think the new rules should be chosen democratically ie you need to have some people that agree with your rule for it to be put into the official rules thread. At the very least i would like to see a revamp of the old rules.
Recently it has been shown that these 4 rules are not sufficient to keep the forum running smoothly. I'm not saying that the forum is crumbing to dust and that without this new thread the forum would end. What I'm saying is that with these new set of rules the form could get back to the more intelligent posts and mindset of the past (or how the past seemed to me). It has been stated numerous times by forum members that there has been an increase of spam and a deterioration in the quality of posts lately and i believe this thread could be the answer.
If we all want to have a fun, happy happy, joy, joy time on here... we're gonna need some rules...
* 1. If you're going to criticize my comic, please do it intelligently, don't just say "your comic sucks!" tell me why you don't like it so we can work on a way to better suit your needs.
* 2. Keep language down to a minimal, there's a nice little language thing here that will alter what you type.. here watch this f**kING SMURFS THEIR pregnant dog butt MUSHROOMS SMELL LIKE poop!.. nifty huh?
* 3. Be nice to the other members, even the ones who just want cause problems, if they want to be a pain.. believe me, I can cause my own trouble, to get even with them.
* 4. Gravedigging and Necroposting are two terms that mean the same thing: posting in a topic well over the date of its last post. For the most part, if a topic has gone without any posts for 30 days or more, don't post in the topic. There are some exceptions to this, however. Any topic you create in the Fan Art, Fan Fiction, or Shameless Plugs sections maybe be revived by you, but only if you have new material for the thread. In any other situation, this practice is looked down upon, so please don't do it.
