I agree with you on everything you said. There will be a Dark-type Gym with Zoroark, and there will be many hot Gym Leader women.
There's one thing I've been wondering for some time... Why are almost all Gym Leaders so young? Seriously, most of them are teenagers or young adults. Did something happen before the player characters started their journeys? A brutal massacre of old Gym Leaders perhaps, by some crazy trainer who couldn't beat the skilled veterans in battle?
I mean, really:
Brock - young adult Misty - teenager Erika - young adult Sabrina - young adult Janine - teenager Blue - teenager Falkner - young adult Bugsy - kid Whitney - young adult Morty - young adult Jasmine - young adult Clair - young adult (she can't be much older than 25) Brawly - young adult Flannery - young adult Winona - young adult Tate and Liza - kids Roark - young adult Gardenia - young adult Maylene - kid/teenager Candice - young adult Volkner - young adult
Twenty-two out of thirty-three Gym Leaders are either kids, teenagers or young adults!

Professional athletes in our world aren't old, they're young. Soldiers aren't old, generals are, but soldiers aren't. Many of the most famous celebrities aren't old, they're young.

But pokémon don't lose their strength as they age, they only get stronger. Well, until they're so old that they can't hear their masters' commands anymore.

Totally, but I think we should talk about something else as well. What has been your greatest battle with a Gym Leader? When I OHKO'ed all of Byron's pokemon with my empoleon, who wasn't even well trained.

Revived because Whitney is overrated.
Why?
I began the battle against her in Crystal with my Level 19 Sandshrew. I chose Fight, then Rollout.
Five turns later, I won the Plain Badge.

I think I remember reading about how the G/S/C gym leaders were weak, the only reason I beat her in HG is because she couldn't hurt my Onix very much.

Got Rock and Ground confused for a second. I always think Rock were immune to Electric. I used to think so too. Thats why I got angry waaaaaaay back when ash fought brock in the anime, and he thunderbolted onix.

Yeah, every time Ash defeats a Geodude or a Golem or a Rhydon in the anime with his Pikachu's Thunderbolt, I get so mad I want to scream! THAT BOY IS A FUC KING CHEATER!!! And to make it all worse, the anime used to think that Rock was immune to Electric in the first season. It's Ground that's immune to electricity! Every noob should know that by now!

Yeah, I learned that when I tried to take advantage of it. I took advantage of the ghost normal thing too. I think I might have posted this somewhere else, or even this thread, but I couldn't beat morty's gengar in soulsilver. So... I soloed him with a hoothoot.

I hate Brawly now
The only reason I beat him this time was because, even though his Haryama used Bulk up 3(!!!) times, his low-kick left my Dragonair (1 level from being a Dragonite) with barely enough HP to survive sandstorm buffeting and reviving my Typhlosion for a final Flamethrower.
Also, Eruption > Blast Burn any day.
Edit: Forgot to mention he swept my team... FUCKIN' TWICE! *Sighs at the loss of all those Max Revives*

I agree, Brawly's a mighty pain. I always have had trouble with him.
Now that I've won all eight Johto badges in Crystal, my brief review of the leaders:
Falkner - Smug guy whose Pidgeotto can be easily beaten with defensive tactics even if Chikorita is chosen (Reflect works wonders). Not too tough if at a decent level. Personality-wise, I actually like his swagger.
Bugsy - Nice guy who provides a decent challenge, but not much. In HGSS, I heard, with U-Turn, he's much tougher.
Whitney - Sweet girl whose true power wasn't shown to me because my Sandshrew decided to hit on all five Rollout turns. I don't mind her personality. It's appealing in a way. Sure, she cries, but at least she admits she lost. *cough*Clair*cough*
Morty - Pretty smug, actually, and ambitious. Struck me as a bit selfish, to be honest, but I like his enthusiasm about Ho-oh. A good battler, too. His Gengar, even without a special-based Shadow Ball, is a tough test.
Chuck - Hilarious, to be honest, with his displays of machoism. His Poliwrath is a real wall given that its level (30) is higher than what most players would have by the time they face him. I liked battling Chuck.
Jasmine - Refer to Chapter 50 of Sea Cottage. How Firmer feels at the end of that chapter is basically how I felt every time I saw Jasmine, let alone battled her. Very shy, but so compassionate... Anyway, her Steelix can take a real beating, and her Magnemite aren't pushovers to non-Ground Pokemon. Second-toughest battle after the one with Clair.
Pryce - Friendly, despite his cold nature. He didn't provide much of a challenge but overall I liked battling him.
Clair - Arrogant birch. At least the dragon elders in the Dragon's Den told her, to her face, that I was better than her. In battle... Well, those Dragonair are pains, and that Kingdra is a real offensive and defensive powerhouse. Paralysis all around, too. Annoying, for sure.

*Smashes his head into the wall repeatedly*
I screwed that up in a way where you can't notice it right away, since you can technically get a Cyndaquil in Emerald. However, I actually meant Bruno in HG. -sigh- But I do have a Dragonite now. Unfortunately, I lost to Lance. (I've already beaten him BTW, this was an E-4 rematch)
