Wow... Swimming beaten? Incredible, SJ. Incredible.
On Pokemon Online I've recently had some nice moments. Such as...
Iwaparesu the hermit crab (Bug/Rock) having less than half health after a Torterra Earthquake. X-Scissor fails to KO the faster shell-toting Pokemon. A second Earthquake... And Iwaparesu survives with 1HP left. X-Scissor for the win. This was the quarterfinal of a 24-player tournament. I lost in the semi-finals, but that was a 6-5 match as well. Iwaparesu is overall proving to be quite the Pokemon.
I know some of you (*cough*SeriousJupiter*cough*) like to joke about a certain ice cream-themed Pokemon, but you can bet I wasn't planning on eating Baibanira when it, 1) Was put in as my last resort with my opponent having three Pokemon left, 2) Was up against a Suicune, with almost no HP left, 3) KO'd that Suicune with Ice Shard thanks to burn damage from an Arcanine Will-O-Wisp, 4) stared down a mean, certainly faster Dark/Dragon Sazandora, 5) used Ice Shard, 6) got a crit, 7) KO'd Sazandora, and 8) Ice Beamed a Goruggo (Ground/Ghost) to snap a brutal seven-game losing streak for me.
I'm also using Shiburudon, the levitating Electric eel, and quite simply, it's outstanding. Not broken, but very solid and powerful. I can always rely on him to perform well.
Teams I'm using on Pokemon Online:
Firmer team - Xatu (lead), Ludicolo, Camerupt, Toxicroak, Umbreon, Kingdra (movesets are modified from the ones in Sea Cottage; Xatu, for example, has Heat Wave instead of Fly and Signal Beam instead of U-Turn)
Defensive Team - Xatu (lead with dual screens), Arcanine, Ludicolo (draining machine), Magnezone (Sturdy), Iwaparesu (Sturdy), Baibanira (very solid battler)
Heath team (based on Firmer's dad; the six Pokemon I could see him having out of all five generations) - Flygon (lead, and Tailwind-U-Turn Firmer's Xatu wannabe), Torkoal, Armaldo, Gallade, Miltank, Shibirudon
If anyone has Pokemon Online, and would like to battle me, I frequent the Pokemon Mysidia server under the name "Firmer".
