So here's the deal, we the mods noticed that other then the youtube dump thread, this little section of the forum doesn't get much traffic... So! To remedy that we (the mods) have decided to make weekly webcomic and other cool website recommendations! To start off I'd like to talk about a favorite of mine... Misfile Link!Misfile is a webcomic that has been running since 2004 so it has a pretty good sized archive, it also updates Monday through Friday... The story centers around a boy who's been turned into a girl and a girl who's lost two years of her life, all thanks to a pot smoking angel who accidentally did this to them and got kicked out of heaven before he could correct it. It also bares some similarity to Initial D with the protagonist Ash being a street racer in his home town. I highly recommend checking this one out if you've never read it, its an awesome comic!

Here's one of my favorites: Raven's DojoLink!Warning: This comic may not be safe for work. It's crazy. It's fuc king craaaaaazy. The craziest comic I've ever read. And I love it. Its main characters are a superstrong monkey-like creature named Rodney, a perverted green dragon named Dornail, a martial artist and the owner of the dojo, Raven, a busty (VERY much so) woman who hates everyone aforementioned, Sarah Lee, and a novice superheroine Rosetta Stone, who looks up to Rodney and Dornail and regards them as her masters. This comic involves a lot of as s-kicking, ridiculous jokes, Sarah's boobs, robot werewolves, living sex dolls, pegasus unicorns (seriously), zombies and puns. Oh God the puns. If you hate puns, you might want to avoid reading this comic. But if you're interested in everything else I mentioned, you should read it and you'll most likely learn to love puns. Raven's Dojo has made puns a form of art. Enjoy the awesome craziness that is Raven's Dojo!

Hark, a vagrant! What is it?Hark, a vagrant is a webcomic by a woman by the name of Kate Beaton. Her comics are mostly related to history or Nancy Drew novels. Boring, I'll pass.Woah, slow down there. I didn't say all of them were. In all fairness what do you expect from a person who has a degree in history? Oh yeah? So what other comics does she do?Have you even looked at the link yet? Her latest comic was about Lois Lane. Two comics before that, The Adventures of Tiny Hermoine. Before that still, The Adventures of Sexy Batman. Must I go on? So go ahead and read it. You'll get a good few laughs from it.

Looking for GroupTo summarize this appropriately, a young, idealistic adventurer meets up with a cast of characters that make Thomas Hobbes look like Leslie Nielsen. An orc mage, a minator, and an undead warlock are just a few of the disturbing characters our hero comes across and begins traveling with. Along the way, he learns harsh realities in a way that usually involves death and pain of side characters, so it's alright. This has been one of my favorite comics for ages now and it'll become one of yours too.

You probably know of it already, but just in case you don't: theoatmeal.com/If you have read it before, then good for you. If not, read through it or the terrorists win.

Well, I guess I'll be the first to talk. I haven't started any of these save for Misfile. I simply love the way that the story was planned out. The plot, the characters, and every aspect makes for a nice comic. Once I catch up to present date I'll definitely get to reading some other comics, but for now I'll keep reading Misfile.

That's actually a good one to start off with. Though I'm not a fan of the racing aspect, I like that its a magical transgender story where the main character isn't tempted by the urges of his/her new gender.

Speaking of transgender stories, I wonder why no one here has made a topic about El Goonish Shive. It's in Recon's Links, and it's an excellent comic, I love reading it. ... El Goonish ShiveSeriously, this is probably my favorite comic on the Internet, even better than Pokémon-X. I even read this comic's forums, though I haven't joined as a member, because the fans of this comic are very intelligent and they discuss it much more thoroughly than I ever could. Not to mention, majority of them are much older than I and know tons of things I don't. So, about the comic... It's hard to explain. It has eight main characters, awesome villains, funny mishaps with magic and super science, a transgender birthday party, wizards, aliens, lesbians, shape-shifters, immortals, you know the drill. The author, Dan Shive, is a great guy and he has always done a great job with his comic. Some of his fans have lately criticized him for various reasons, but I disagree with those people, because I believe they're just trolling or expecting the impossible. It's his comic, dammit, he has the right to do whatever he wants with it... Not that he has done anything outrageous that would justify the criticism. Like I said, some people just love trolling. So yeah. This is the second link I sponsor, even if it already is in Recon's Links. Deal with it.

It was really interesting although I really get lost when the car stuff comes up and am kind of annoyed that almost all of the characters are so stubborn. Ash's cluelessness when it comes to girl-related subjects is hilarious, and I love the akward moments that uassaly happen when somebody is talking to Ash's father. (because he's a gynecycologist and all)
