Dragon Ball Z Multiverse is an on-going online webcomic that's been translated into 23 languages and written originally by two amazingly talent DBZ fans who go by the names Salagir and Gogeta Jr.
The premise of the comic is thus: (GT is ignored) Ten years after the end of the Buu saga, the Z-fighters are contacted by a race of people called the Vargas. The Vargas come from an alternate universe and have discovered the ability to travel between whole universes. The way these universes differ from one another is quite well done and more than once has the bad guys winning the final fight of their saga or some other turn of event which prevented someone from traveling or training somewhere, which means Frieza and family, Cell, Super Buu, and even Broly are the strongest contenders in a different universe. However, different good guys are the strongest too. A super Namek that's far more powerful than Kamiccolo, the human Z-fighters, and even Vegeto reign supreme under a different set of circumstances.
Well, in true-to-Dragon Ball style, instead of using this physics-defying technology to spread medicine, science, and philosophy to all, the Vargas are hosting a martial arts tournament between the most powerful fighters in the multiverse.
This gives the reader plenty of astounding battles to read that range from Cell vs. Dabura, original characters that fit well into the world of Dragon Ball battling familiar faces, a competent Yamacha vs. Android #18, and Vegeto vs. Broly.
I highly, highly recommend this to any DBZ fan. It has the same action, humor, excitement, surprise battle outcomes, and plot turns as any work done by Toriyama (who is a fighter from one of the universes).
