Yeah, it has been a while. This forum introduced me to Minecraft, and Jacio led me to Homestuck, it's kind of weird to think I wouldn't be into those things if I hadn't looked up pokemon webcomics (Let's be real though, I would've gotten into Minecraft at some point). Of course, none of those time-sinks can compare to when Cabinet let me know there were better internet browsers to use than Internet Explorer.

I didn't even end up here from voluntarily looking up pokemon webcomics. I was just browsing Newgrounds' forums when someone happened to post one of the Thanksgiving comics in the gaming section. I wanted to see more, so I followed their link and ended up here... Jeez, I can't believe I still remember that. I don't remember at all how I ended up at my other webcomic of choice, Brawl in the Family (which has unfortunately since ended).

Sorry to hear that, Gooman. Good luck with whatever job you end up taking, real or otherwise.
On the topic of pokemon, I ended up resetting my ORAS game, once I got a solid team going the wonderlocke thing got a little boring. Pokemon games in general aren't holding my attention like they used to. Maybe I'll revisit Soul Silver, the Gen 2 remakes are my favorite.

The pokemon postgame is still fun for me, but I still haven't been able to touch my ORAS in months. I stopped right around badge 5 and I haven't been willing at all to go back and play it. HeartGold is also my favorite game so if I ever need a pokemon pick-me-up, I'll probs just go for that one. So does anyone know anything about Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon? I've been hesitatnt to buy it ever since I was scarred over the decent disappointment that Gates to Infinity was (rest in peace, main character Dunsparce, you will always be remembered for the game you were in, not your beautiful personality ). It just seems like no MD game can be as good as Sky, but with all 720 pokemon I'm curious as to how it'll actually play.

It looks like it's gotten pretty good reviews, so it probably won't be a total disappointment. I'm considering getting it myself, to tide me over until the next Fire Emblem comes out.

I ended up preordering the new Fire Emblem in that $80 special edition bundle... I just couldn't resist having both games and the DLC on a single cartridge from the getgo, even if it meant spending more money on peripherals

It's not the worst thing to spend 80 bucks on, Awakening was an awesome game. I'm probably just going to get Conquest, I just got a new computer so unfortunately I don't have enough money to buy three fire emblem games, as much as I would love to. At least I can play all the computer games I already own! Probably going to boot up Skyrim again.
As for getting back into Soul Silver, I did a nuzlocke until I got to Union Cave and used fifteen pokeballs failing to catch an Onix and ragequit. I was so excited to see the bastard, too.

I agree, I'm glad I get to experience more of the FE universe after Awakening, that game was great. I also plan on downloading some of the earlier GBA FE games since they got released on Wii U virtual console, so that'll be fun. I've gotten some hardcore recommendations for it from friends

I remember watching my brothers play the first fire emblem game. The first American release, at least. I also remember thinking Marth was Hector's son because they both had blue hair, and Roy was Eliwood's son. Man that was a while ago. Welp. If I start a project or something, I will probably post it here. Until then I dunno what else to do here, except keep on kind of chatting.

If anything else pops up on here I'd be glad to join in, but for now the chatting is way better than nothing

I also remember thinking Marth was Hector's son because they both had blue hair, and Roy was Eliwood's son. Well, you got one right! I've played every FE game besides Fates so if either of you have any questions about older ones, just ask. Also, I wouldn't be opposed to the return of the Spam Lounge.
