Tyranitar isn't in uber, it is just very OU. Personally, I don't think they are too tough.

Yes..um...sorry if I sound a bit noobish but whats "uber" or "OU"? Don't feel noobish, it's no big deal. As bob said, Uber means super. So Uber pokemon are ones that are really hard to beat because of Stats alone (Mewtwo, Groudon, Kyogre, Lugia). Keep in mind, these are different from normal legendaries (the dogs, the birds, and the bots). Most people are pretty cut and dry about which are Ubers and which aren't. However, celebi, mew, and jirachi are 3 that most people don't agree on whether they are Ubers or not. Also, (and this in no way determines the quality of netbattle) the folks at Smogon, the makers of Netbattle, seem to think that Wobbuffet and Slaking are Ubers. As for me, I think that if you can't beat a pokemon that can only hurt you if you've attacked it directly (I mean seriously, who makes a team that doesn't have one pokemon knowing toxic?) or can only attack every other turn, you flat out suck. And OU means Over Used, which refers to pokemon that are used too often.

Ttar is actually really hardto beat. The reason you would fid it easy is because it is so OU that you encounter lots of noobies with it...
It's sandstorm ability alone counters all forms of flail and reversal...nto to mention it can learnn dragon dance, and has decent enough defense to take one hit to power up before rampaging. Oh, it has subbstitute, too....
Of course, gyarados is my favorite DDer for Taunt attack. With taunt and dragon dance (npot to mention intimidate ability) gyarados can be near invincible.

Tyranitar is easy to beat even with Razek's sub-dance strategy. Here's why: Flygon w/EQ Of course, gyarados is my favorite DDer for Taunt attack. With taunt and dragon dance (npot to mention intimidate ability) gyarados can be near invincible. Unless a person has aerodactyl, skarmory, or zapdos.

Notice I said 'near' invincible. Oh, and skarmory is actually pwned by gyarados too, belive it or not. Aerodactyl too....

Intimidate is what got me using Gyarados... I used to hate it in the earlier games... especially the red gyarados that every single person I battled had in their team...

Oh wait, 3rd paragraph is clearly mjc . The rest can be either though. Yeah, it is. In the fact that bigbboy here is 100% correct in his statement. Recon does this for free, and anyone making demands to change the comic like this is frankly quite appalling. And if you don't like it, you can kiss my butt. And comparing bigbboy's wise statement to something Dactylus would crap out is insulting. All he ever does is contradict himself at every turn: Just click the post link above this quote to see what I mean.
