He's right. Well...it is a word just not an official one. It probably will be in the future though.

No, it isn't. It's a false contraction used by rednecks. If "ain't" is a combination of two words, then what two words are they? Most contractions are a form of a word with not attached where the o is replaced by an apostrophe. Isn't = Is not. Aren't = Are not. Ain't = Ai not? I don't think so. "Ain't" and "stupider" are not words, and anyone who thinks they are is an idiot.

It starts right off by saying that it's widely disapproved as nonstandard. To translate that for the stupid (AKA you) it means "THIS IS NOT A REAL WORD."
And we've already established that dictionary.com is not a reliably source for your word definition needs. Go away, bobmart.

Lets see, Merriam-Webster has "ain't" and dictionar.com has "stupider" so they are all idiots? I don't know why you went to dictionar.com for a reference to words. Perhaps if you went to dictionary.com, you'd have some argument.

Well, he would have at least had a crappy argument that made sense.

No, that's no argument, it's stating something that we already shot down.

well, back to the discussion: This statement is so bad that, I'm not even going to bother arguing against it. So, your saying people have to approve it as a word for it to be a word? WRONG, A word, by definition is a written or printed character or combination of characters representing a spoken word The fact that people use "ain't" and "stupider" in their speech or writing makes it a word. Also, when it says "widely disapproved as a nonstandard" that statement means that is a standard, just not approved, otherwise it wouldn't be in the dictionary. No we haven't, what makes dictionary.com unreliable?

This statement is so bad that, I'm not even going to bother arguing against it. It wasn't made to be argued against. It was made to show you that you made a mistake in your spelling that could easily have been corrected if you had pressed the "Spell Check" button.
