Yeah, kinda seems like he might have his pokemon mixed up. Anyway, I wonder what pokemon they'll encounter?

Or an Abra.
Actually, I already knew that. But Recon asked me not to spoil the comic, so I tricked you all with the Zubat distraction! MWAHAHA!!!

Ahh yes trying to catch an Abra. That was one of the hardest thing to do in RBY version.

was not hard for me, I took my luck and just tossed a pokeball and luckly it on the first try.
Brendan needs to get a new strategy ta catch a abra. And if he does, it is going to be a pain to train

Or do what I did and throw an Ultra Ball.

Exactly, ultra balls are quite good for catching unweakened pokemon from the level 2-20 range. Although I did once catch an articuno at full health with a great ball.

my friend leo can top that. He caught a Rayquaza in the yellow with a pokeball. And I saw it in the corner. (lucky jerk)
If wild pokemon were as hard as catching legendaries, I would have broke my gameboy by now

Although I did once catch an articuno at full health with a great ball. In Colosseum, I was throwing Ultra Ball after Ultra Ball at Dakim's Entei, but failing to catch it. I was getting frustrated, so I decided to throw a Great Ball instead, and caught him in that. Another story (this one I would never believe if I hadn't been the one it happened to): I found Mewtwo in Leaf Green, and decided just for the hell of it that my opening move would be to throw an Ultra Ball. No stat changers, no damage, the first thing I did was throw an Ultra Ball at him. It caught him.

Ahh yes trying to catch an Abra. That was one of the hardest thing to do in RBY version. Especially without Mean Look or any other traps. I wonder if they're ever going to try and go up the mud slide?

Poor Brendan he has to stay in the cave until he finds an Abra. Actually it would be pretty funny to see him try to battle w/it.
