There's an Idea!!!
we could start an RPG thread using your Table Top game. You know the rules so you should GM. lus you probably have a D20 to actually do most of the rolling.
Actually I know it might be a bit much but I'm very interested. Maybe you could foward me a copy of the rules. Unless their not on a computer in which case don't bother I don't want to make more work for you.

Don't worry about it. I'll update it in my spare time. However, I'll start a new thread for the RPG...um...here in the gaming section I guess. That way we don't clog up the Pokemon Colosseum thread with an off topic. Before I start the thread, what kind of info would you like to see first?

Well I guess we should start with how you create a character? What stats are needed to be rolled? I guessing since this is R/B we're sticking strictly to R/B pokemon right? Also how does combat work in this game? Do you base the pokemons stats by the game set up or do you have some kind of special system?

I always wanted to be a really evil character. More evil than Team rocket, magma and aqua put together. I always hated being the goody toshoes helping everyone. For one I would like to make a volcanoe blow up.

I'm not usually one to allow evil characters in games, blame it on playing RPG's since the original Dragon Warrior was released or whatever. The problem arises in an RP with a party that evil naturally doesn't like to work with others. Backstabbing is a pain in the rear for a DM. However...I suppose I could allow a little leeway. Just let me know what I'm getting into first. I'll post the pokemon stat configuration later. I had it all worked out for defense and special defense and everything. I'll find it later. Don't really need it for an online game. Also...being a hero doesn't mean you have to be a goody two shoes like on the games Doing the right thing doesn't always mean you follows the laws to do so.

Oh ok, well lets say that i wanted to deviate from the traditional plotline of R/B a little, does the game allow for that?

Of course it does ^_^ It's a tabletop style game. The only things that are the same as the R/B games are the pokemon and the cities. You don't have to be from pallet town, you don't have to be 12 years old. (for instance...you might be a 16 year old character that didn't want to be a trainer, but became one now because something happened.) Let your imagination go and have fun, but leave some stuff for the DM too.

LOL you asked about a girlfriend. That's not exactly an actual gameplay question, but yes you can. Of course doing so allows me to do all the stereotypical evil things that villains do with girlfriends, kidnapping, holding for ransom, etc. Players tend to take on the book title of "main character" which in game terms means, "you get stuff happening to you, good and bad."
