Wait... what? The strategy is really just in choosing the 4 moves That is not strategy XD because there are ways to get more which are just a hassle Just saying, an important thing with TMs was carefully choosing which Pokemon to use it on. Now I can have a team of x6 Earthquakes, x6 Flamethrower, x6 Ice Beam, x6 Thunderbolt, etc. Any one who really wanted more went to the arcade, the battle tower, the battle frontier, or traded up from gen 3 and got those TM's, I don't think there was a half-way decent one that you couldn't get duplicates of. Only one I remember being a non-duplicate that I cared about was steel wing.

Ah, Mt. Moon. A real labyrinth. Though, I must admit, I always wondered where those random item balls came from.

Due to several factors in my life including moving to California, job hunting, improving my training so I can become a professional fighter, and ritual circumcisions, my attendance on this forum is going to take a massive dip.
From my normal numerous times per day, my rate will now drop to once each morning. This also means that A Step to Redemption will be updating much slower. I know, I hate it too. However, when I think about where I'd like to be a month from now, having a secure job in the place I want to live is more important than a silly little fan fiction.
So, best of luck to all of you, I'll still be around, poking my head in now and then. Also, read my fanfic. You'll love it.

Sturdy + Explosion should be a popular combination this generation. I too dislike Smogon. Every move is fair in its own way, and while they may cry "But Articuno's Mind Reader-Sheer Cold! That's evil!", they should slap themselves and realize that the Sturdy Pokemon they throw out as "useless" - Bastiodon and Probopass come to mind - have their uses. I never was a fan of Pokemon like Golem or Steelix, but they have been dumped on so much by "competitive" battlers because of their typings that they deserve a boost, and I think the modification of Sturdy is the right boost. Preach, brother. Thing I hate most is the sleep clause. So many more pokemon would be in their 'top tier' if they stopped with that BS and 'competitive' battlers started needing safe guard.

You could just as easily do ShellShock MyWarmGoo (or MyWormGoo), and Cpt.Falcon while staying under the 10 letter limit. I don't understand why you shorthanded them. Thought it was 8. Also, it's MyWarmGoo.

I like the TM thing. In my opinion, it does not hamper strategy and it removes an inconvenience from all the previous generations. All the news is what I like to here, and I wonder what types of Pokemon Dento and Aloe use. I sense that the woman uses Grass Pokemon, simply because of her name, though I could be wrong. Perhaps she has a Smugleaf. EDIT: Look at this: "The ability Sturdy now prevents any form of one hit knock out from maximum Hit Points, leaving just 1 Hit Point." Built-in Focus Sash. The Magnezone fan that I am rejoices. Also, Team Plasma do use Pokemon - a Poke Ball in the hands of the male grunt. Plus, they look like knights. Interesting... frick yeah. I always supported the use of OHKO moves and now there's a reason for others to take the same precautions I do. In your face, Smogon.

Why is Segal shooting children? WHY ARE CHILDREN BEING KILLED IN A MOVIE?! ON SCREEN?! He is shooting them because they killed his family.

most epic show ever though it was kinda unfair to put knight vs pirate, they even admitted at the end of season 1 that the people before and after gunpowder should be separated the knight would have so owned the spartans butt, oh and I wanted the ninja too win TT^TT (for obvious reasons) Well, that's why they paired the pirate and the knight. The knight was the most heavily armored and armed soldier until the application of gunpowder. Then, the amount of armor soldiers wore drastically decreased. They wanted to make sure that gunpowder was the reason, so they paired the knight against the most disorganized, untrained, and technologically disadvantageous warrior who had gunpowder. If you watch the episode, Amond Dorion even spelled out that you shouldn't just jump to the side with guns, because these aren't the guns of our days. They're slow to load, inaccurate, and their bullets were usually just some random piece of metal that fit in the hole.
