Seriously, I think Rocky should talk in front of everyone! What does it matter that he has a double dose of Pokérus? It's not like he's misusing his extra powers or causing any harm to anyone. He certainly wouldn't be "disected" if he didn't want it and if he just wanted to be left alone, he would, because the Pokémon world is a much nicer place than the real world.

The thing is he would most likely be taken from Brendan and do SOME experimentation on him, which wouldn't be cool since he's a funny character.

Brendan would never, ever allow that. And as far as I know, Professor Birch is the only pokémon professor in Hoenn, and he respects Brendan, so he wouldn't take Rocky away from him.
Then again, there is that mysterious green team... Who knows what they want from Rocky... Well, Recon knows, of course, but he's not gonna tell us.
Damnit, Neptune, snap out of confusion already!
Sorry... I'm playing Ruby when I write this... But anyway, maybe you're right, maybe Rocky should remain silent.

Rocky would be very pissed indeed if he was treated like a lab experiment (remember Mewtwo?) so the best way to protect himself is to act as normally as possible. No talking.

That's probably why people think Brendan is funnier though (to some). I still hold my vote for Rocky because even though he doesn't have many words to say, he usually spouts out funny little comments when he does talk.
