Turtles are small and tortoises are huge hulking centrury old monstrosities. Thats the diffrence.
Also I think Recon's sanity left along time ago. He's just now noticing. lol

I think that turtles also live in water and tortoises don't. Am I right?
So Brendan likes turtles... If he lived in Kanto, I'm sure his starter would have been Squirtle then.

Pretty much, but he isnt obsessed. The only thing he's probably obsessed with are Gyms. Although he can be quite caring (sometimes)
And as for Recon's sanity, I think it still is there, but lurking DEEP inside himself.

Fortunately wikipedia has an article on this very subject. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differences_between_turtles%2C_tortoises_and_terrapinsBasically, it seem we here in Britain, and indeed those in Australia at least attempt to define them by habitat, but in America they just call them all turtles... But I'm sure there are dozens of exceptions to the habitat rule. I thought it was to do with their limbs; one had flippers and the other legs, but I guess that was wrong... |

Yes! Brendan finally caught the tortoise!
Next thing he'll catch is hopefully a female Machop.
It's still a long way to Fallarbor... They'll be starving by the time they get there. Poor guys.
