Any good name suggestions for a female Treecko? I want to start one future Emerald game with a female Treecko and I haven't decided a name yet.

If a female mercenary used that name in Armored Core then your Treecko can use it. But for meeeee...and most of mine just happened to be female (I didn't intentionally make them all that way) Sneasel (Female) - Valkyrie Metagross - Ori Absol (Female) - INRI Salamence (Female) - Hydra Aggron (Female) - Arycaas Gardevoir (Male) - Evangel

Valkyrie is a good name for a female pokemon, it makes you think that it's strong (and it almost always is)

Thanks Wired.age, but I don't think I'll name her Bilbo. But thanks anyway for the suggestion.
Your pokémon have good names. I like especially Hydra, Valkyrie and Evangel.

Valkyrie is a good name for a female pokemon, it makes you think that it's strong (and it almost always is) Darn right. Valkyrie, first time I faced Steven, was able to take out his Skarmory and hold her own against his Metagross (Since after Skarmory I switched for...I can't remember). "but I don't think I'll name her Bilbo" Terpsichore? It would sort of fit with Treecko's evo. tree. Other than that, I'd say go with an abstract name of some sort.

I like to give nicknames that are either based on the pokemon's appearance, ability, nature, or after someone I know

Besides, Terpsichore has eleven letters, and pokémon names can only have ten. I like to give nicknames that are either based on the pokemon's appearance, ability, nature, or after someone I know Those are good basics for naming pokémon. I like to give them names that suit their species. Like Linda = Linoone, Grace = Grumpig etc. I think I'll name her Tricia, but I have plenty of time to change my mind, since I'm gonna have another game with Mudkip before I start the Treecko game. So I'm in no hurry.

So you named your pokémon after your favorite wrestlers and stuff? That's cool.

no. You are never allowed to say believe it. It is so annoying, that is all he ever says. I thought ninetails is a better choice though.

Every Starter pokemon that I start with I either name it Joey or Joe. Because it's my name. Other examples or my nicknames are:
Seviper - Slytherin (taken from Harry Potter) Zubat/Crobat - Fang Swellow - Ace or Jet Ponyta - Dash Charmander - Blane (the fire Gym Leader from Kanto) Snorlax - Buddah Scyther - Slash Ariados -Aiden (a metal band, if any of you listen to metal) Skarmory - Blade Octillery - Odysseus (a hero from Greek series) Manectric - Flash Mangeton - Magnum Houndoom - Balto Vaporeon - Ariel (from the Little Mermaid) Jolteon - Jolt Flareon - Flare Espeon - Noe Umbreon - Shadow

I rarely name my pokemon, with a few exceptions. I just never really saw a reason to.
I always name my starter Firstblood. I've been doing that for so long, i don't even remember why I started doing that.
Since reading this comic, I've named the first poochyena I catch Rocky
Zigzagoon are all given the name Ziggy and then the number by order which i catch them.
If possible, I always go out of my way to find a Pikachu and a Vulpix, who I will name Sparky and Exion (after a friend of mine) unless I'm playing Yellow, where the Pikachu will be Firstblood.

I also, made a rocky after the one in the comic through pokesav. The code is in another topic though if you want it.
