Okay, time to talk about the legendary three of the game this comic's based on: Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. (No, the Regies don't count.)
Assuming Pokémon-X manages to stick around long enough to get to where our protagonists are ready to catch them. Obviously, there's enough for one per person, and we all know that Rayquaza is gonna be Wally's. But what about the other two? Who will get them? YOU DECIDE!

His name is Brendan, and I think nobody will catch those legendaries. Somehow it just wouldn't suit the comic.

I don't think that Recon will have them collect the legendaries.
It'd make them too uber.

Even if Recon (our lord and master, I bow to thee) does decide to give legendaries we'll be here until the end of time waiting for Pokemon-X to get to that part in the story. It would also make to story less fun if Brendan was to appear at the elite 4 and battle them with a pokemon that helped to create the region.

Thats true. Knowing Brendan, he would use the legendary on a battle. But I know that won't happen.

there's no way brendan would be happy with one. he is after all the main character.
the thing about legendaries that always annoyed me was that they apparently created the world and land or some other amazing feats but in comparison to other pokemon they're not really that strong. I mean, I understand they can't be THAT strong or it wouldn't really be a battle but I was wondering if there was any reason in the canon stories as to why they aren't as strong as they should be?

An uber is a pokemon that is so powerful (or can be made so powerful) that it is banned from being used in pokemon battle, a bunch of legendaries are uber because they CAN be configured to be amazingly strong

What if they catch them but have to release them due to the imbalance of nature? Ever thought of that?

Legendaries used to be cool, but now they're overrated pieces of crap and fail.
They started out as actual hard-to-get Pokemon, but as time went on, each generation added more and more until a noticeable percentage of them were legendaries. They're nothing special now since everybody has at least 8 now.
