Quick question.

When Brendan does the Zelda thing where he lifts his newly-found item and it glows... how come it's only "do-da-do?" Shouldn't it be "do-do-da-do?" I've been playing Zelda for years... t'was one of the first games I ever touched, and the first I actually beat.
Apologies if this has already been asked, or if this is intentional.

But unless Recon-san wants to go through and edit every single page on which Brendan gets an item, he shouldn't worry about it. I only noticed since I play Zelda... almost religiously.
I'll probably stop using -san in a few minutes. It stopped being funny 3 or 4 months ago.

I was about to criticize you for posting with a single word again (I've seen the moderators act simliarly on here), but when I went to find the rule where it denoted the minimal number of words you had to apply in replies to threads, I couldn't find it.

And, to bring us back onto topic (the one rule you may have been violating, though technically this thread never had a topic once the admin posted), I also demand more romances within the comic. <3 I know there already is, you [Recon] were probably already planning on doing so and this has irrevocably and definitely been requested already. Thus, you can ignore this post, Recon-sama. (You've been upgraded!) So, unless I can think of anything else to post here that would be useful, I'm done posting here in this thread.

Not really. It's one of those things where you go: "Hey, what's up with that?". We're not preaching for changing it (I'm not at least) but it's one of the few threads with some degree of purpose here.

Plus, it's the Pokemon X discussion forum. The "do-do-do" is a running gag in the comic. It's relevant to the purpose of this forum. I can't see how somebody would claim this to be "pointless" when it contributes to the forum in which it belongs and DOESN'T ask some retard question like "RECON I CAN HAS WHERE U GET UR SPRITES?!".

Thank you! I was afraid to contradict Sailor Jupiter on this, since I saw that it was worthy of conversation, but he's a mod.

I already have his sprites (sort of). :3 Now I'm tempted to make my own terrible and probably offensive comic and post it in the Art section.

Not to derail the theme of the comic's Pokemon-based story, but I also think it would be funny if there were Legend of Zelda (probably LttP) sprites that, when they saw Brendan do that "do-da-do" thing, they'd react and try to get him to stop Ganon.
It would be even more funny if this "Ganon" turned out to be either of the leaders from Team Aqua/Magma or the Pokemon Champion, and the Zelda characters had just mistaken his name. Even more funny if "Ganon" actually did want to take over the world.
Rocky vs. Ganon would be gigglicious.

If the background for these forums were an easy-to-type-in color, all you'd have to do is highlight my text, like you do on the other forums I post in. Hidden text ftw.
Though, the easiest way to read the so-called 'hidden text' is by quoting me. You don't even have to post when you quote, since you can edit everything in these Proboards forums.
