Thanks for the advice Panda. I'm not sure if I got everything what you said but I'll use it as a reference. I'll keep posting more sprites for my practice to see how I'm doing. EDIT: I made another one taking Panda's tutorial. I made this one: Bulbagon: Bagon with Bulbasor's bulb. I added the spots to make it look more like both. I know it needs work. Questions/comments/hits? What do you think?

Meh, it's good but not your best.
This would have been a good time to learn scratching. You could've use part of the bulb and scratch the other so it looks like it fits better. I like the spots, they're a nice touch.
Did you save as .PNG? It doesn't look like it but I could be wrong.

Yea, its a PNG. I know its not my best. Like I said, I'll start small with just two Pokemon for now. What do you mean by scratching? Like making the bulb look as if it was basically on Bagon's skin?

alright, cool. joe: by scratching he means spriting your own parts onto the fusion. Scratch-spriting is making your own sprites from scratch. Hence the name.

Nintendoowened basically covered it. See how the bulb almost looks like it's behind the back instead of on the back? You want to scratch parts of that bulb or the whole thing so it fits.
Scratching can be difficult though, and it takes some practice. If you really feel you can't do it then just keep making sprites like you do. They're all good anyway.

Thanks everyone for the tips. So scratching is basically like drawing a part or something it doesn't have. I think I'll try to scratch it to see what happens. I know the sprites aren't that good but I'll keep making them to see the outcome. I know it takes a lot of practice and thats something I'll be doing. EDIT: Pikarill: Pikachu + Marill. Something simple.

It looks good. Some outlining and the foot on the left seem like they got a little messed up.
When you start to get advanced in your fusions, you may want to change shading so the mixed parts have the same shading.
I like it though. It's a cute little ball of ... cute.

That's pretty good. My first fusion: Don't laugh, this was over a year and a half ago. And My first scratch-sprite: Just under a year ago And my favourite scratch-sprite: A couple of months ago
