Pretty much the final draft.
Pokèmon-X Timeline
August 31, 2003 A.D. - Recon Dye, author of Pokèmon-X, a sprite comic that began to become popular, opens the Proboards Pokèmon-X message boards.
August 31, 2003 A.D. - Away joins the forums.

September 1, 2003 A.D. - Kyuukei joins the forums.
September 1, 2003 A.D. - Crono joins the forums.
September 1, 2003 A.D. - Weaselking joins the forums.
April 4, 2004 A.D. - mjc0961 joins the forums.
April 28, 2004 A.D. - RAZEK joins the forums.
June 14, 2004 A.D. - VMag joins the forums.
August 22, 2004 A.D. - bigbboy1234 joins the forums.
August 22, 2004 A.D. - Gangs of the Pokèmon Underworld, a soon-to-be extremely popular fan fiction, is released. The author is bigbboy1234.
September 21, 2004 A.D. - Dunsparce joins the forums.
November 1, 2004 A.D. - The Halloween Conflict. In response to the Halloween comic, many Pebble Version fans, including the author Josiah himself, criticize the comic and vow revenge. There was speculation of an upcoming forum attack by Pebble Version fans as well. Recon Dye even suggested that he was “sick of him” and that “it's time to take him down... once.. and for all…”
November 2, 2004 A.D. - The Halloween Conflict. A few members from Pebble Version, Pokchu and shadedspriter, join the forums. They are suspected of “spying” but state their cause as a call for peace and to avoid a possible forum war. Recon agrees, stating that flaming is usually pointless, but if needed, he would be ready with Operation: Crow, a plan that would have been initiated if needed. Josiah later joins the forums and asks the other forum members to read what he posted on Pebble Version. Aside from a few members spamming the forums, which were still mild, no major incident is known to have occurred. This incident makes Josiah remove a Pokèmon-X link he had on the links page of Pebble Version and creates a rule on his forum, stating that any talk about Pokèmon-X was forbidden.
November 7, 2004 A.D. - Rick Xeros joins the forums.
December 17, 2004 A.D. - Banov joins the forums.
March 2, 2005 A.D. - daveshn joins the forums.
April 14, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions daveshn begins a discussion on the new Pokèmon video games. At the time no undeniable proof is released about the games’ existence, therefore meaning that it is merely speculation.
April 16, 2005 A.D. - bobtherandomguy joins the forums.
April 26, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions VMag revives the thread and uses a Wikipedia page and claims that they know no more than Serebii at the moment. mjc0961 finds the fact that VMag uses a Wikipedia page as ridiculous. It should be noted that several members are receptive to the game’s existence, but since Nintendo doesn’t officially announce its existence, mjc0961 believes that they are only discussing a rumor in the topic.
June 9-11, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions A new member claims that he has caught almost every single Pokèmon in Diamond and Pearl and others believe that he doesn’t know what he is talking about or he plays something that doesn’t exist.
June 20-24, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions bigbboy1234 believes that the new person might have a bootleg copy and VMag jokes that the new person is just from the future. Seeing this, mjc0961 tells VMag not to spam in the thread due to a real discussion that he is attempting to have. VMag continues to joke and insists that the new person is from the future. mjc0961 reminds Vmag that Recon Dye has warned him about spam and tells VMag that it would be in his best interest to stop, while Vmag retorts that mjc0961 turns simple threads into large-scale flame matches. Daveshn gets involved and agrees with VMag’s observation.
June 24, 2005 A.D. - Rei, known as CoNfUsEd~*~CiRcUiTrY, joins the forums.
June 25, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions mjc0961 gets defensive and states that both VMag and daveshn are both acting pathetic. Vmag tries to diffuse the situation, but mjc0961 believes that since he started off with the spam of “he came from the future”, VMag had to retract all of his spam posts up to that point. Mjc0961 also believes that since daveshn told him to cut down on swear words, he was also imposing religious beliefs onto him, which Vmag begins to disprove.
June 26, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions daveshn made the topic because, according to him, he wanted to “draw people's attention to it and to find any other rumers about it floating around the internet.”
July 16, 2005 A.D. - DemonicChocobo joins the forums.
July 24, 2005 A.D. - Banov’s Amazing Pokèmon Adventures (BAPA), another extremely popular fan fiction, begins its first chapter. The author is Banov.
August 25, 2005 A.D. - Lance, who is notorious for spam posts, joins the forums.
September 10, 2005 A.D. - mjc0961 creates “People for the Ethical Treatment of Brendan’s Nuts” (PETBN), a major user-created group that garnered much support. It was created in response to the members who constantly suggested that Brendan got kicked in the nuts as storyline suggestions. This group is still supported by veterans by having a certain signature with red text for PETBN and continues to gain support from new generations of members.
October 12-22, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions Other sources such as IGN begin to confirm the games, but mjc0961 remains skeptical due to the lack of Nintendo-confirmed reports.
October 21, 2005 A.D. - Royalty joins the forums.
October 22-November 9, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions Even more sources discuss the games
November 8, 2005 A.D. - The Team Battles. For the purpose of having fun, the forums set up a “team war”, which was an RPG of Team Magma and Team Aqua “battling” each other. Even though he would be ultimately banned, harr9 came up with this idea. Banov became the leader of Team Magma and Lance became the leader of Team Aqua.
November 21-29, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions Since no actual Nintendo source is given, mjc0961 denies that the games really do exist. He passes them off as a rumor. Daveshn finds out that the new games are to include wi-fi capabilities, rendering Net Battle useless. Mjc0961 sarcastically jabs at daveshn for buying into the rumor still. Other reliable sources are included but this does not convince mjc0961, who will continue to have skepticism of the existence of the games because no official Nintendo source is given. According to Dunsparce, Nintendo of Japan (NoJ) has confirmed the games as well as CoroCoro, but admits that nothing from Nintendo of America (NoA) has been released. Because of the disagreements, bigbboy1234 doesn’t choose a side whether the games exist or not, but uses deductive reasoning to formulate guesses, using gamespot.com as sources. Nevertheless the argument gets more heated. Mjc0961 again insists that the topic should be locked because it’s based off of a rumor and convincing speculations saying “The games do not exist, and this topic should be locked and everyone who assisted in the spread of this stupid rumor should lose 10 karma.”
November 29, 2005 A.D. - The Team Battles. In the only recorded conflict known on the forums, mjc0961 suggests that both teams be disbanded because nobody gained anything from them other than numerous flames and spam. Eventually, the members agree and let the thread fade away.
December 1, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions Dunsparce and mjc0961 escalate their arguments, including diatribes and ad hominem in their posts. Dunsparce repeats links that were used in the thread and mjc0961 dismisses them as third-party links that don’t establish anything. He also claims that he doesn’t doubt that the games exist; he simply does not think that, for the most part, they do exist.
December 9, 2005 A.D. - The “Worst Ever Comic Contest” begins, which is a contest idea created by DemonicChocobo. The winner of this contest is daveshn.
December 13, 2005 A.D. - mjc0961 becomes a moderator of the Shameless Plugs forum.
December 15, 2005 A.D. - harr9 is banned for spam, posting porn links, and referencing drug abuse on the forums.
December 21, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. An alternate account was created, impersonating mjc0961. The impersonator spammed a thread in General Discussion, with only DemonicChocobo noticing at the time. Confused, he questioned why mjc0961 and kult7 weren’t acting like themselves.
December 22, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. mjc0961 logs on the next morning confirming that the mjc0961 DemonicChocobo saw was an impersonation. The false mjc0961 deleted the post and eventually deleted the account, which DemonicChocobo could not quote or identify anymore. For the time being, the impersonator was not caught.
December 23, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. Recon bans kult7 for making extra accounts to impersonate other members of the forum. The mystery is solved and DemonicChocobo is relieved that the offender is banned.
December 26, 2005 A.D. - King Chaos joins the forums.
December 29, 2005 A.D. - Gangs of the Pokèmon Underworld chapter 27 is released. This is the last chapter published on the forums by bigbboy1234.
January 2, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions After a month without flaming in the topic, nothing has been announced and confirmed by Nintendo of America. daveshn asks that nobody posts unless they have proof from NoA.
January 5, 2006 A.D. - Ibitmybut joins the forums.
January 9, 2006 A.D. - djgeier, later known as CATZEN, joins the forums.
January 13, 2006 A.D. - After being warned about his spamming and flaming, Royalty is banned.
February 1, 2006 A.D. - The Smiting Incident. mjc0961, supposedly offended by a comment DemonicChocobo made asking mjc0961 if he “was TRYING to start another flame war?”, created a topic indicating that all he said was “it’s easy to smite others” (in regards to the karma system that was set up at the time) and that DemonicChocobo was trolling. Reading the topic, DemonicChocobo refused to apologize over the issue and claims that mjc0961’s post was “hilarious” and would give him karma.
February 2, 2006 A.D. - The Smiting Incident. Unsatisfied by DemonicChocobo’s response, mjc0961 speaks with Recon Dye in an IM chat. Recon Dye suspends DemonicChocobo temporarily.
February 3, 2006 A.D. - The Smiting Incident. daveshn asked mjc0961 a day earlier why he was accusing somebody of breaking a rule while at the same time breaking another rule, which would be the language rule. mjc0961 responds, saying that he isn’t breaking any rules because he wasn’t swearing too much for his posts to constitute as violating the rules and accuses daveshn of being hypocritical for spamming because daveshn didn’t “contribute to the topic at hand”. This incident fuels the fire for more flame wars in the future.
February 12, 2006 A.D. - King Chaos, alleged of making a racist remark along the lines of: “only people who are white may live and all other races are inferior and are low as hell itself”, is banned.
March 20, 2006 A.D. - reubo, later renamed The Hair Guy, joins the forums.
March 24, 2006 A.D. - gojithefox joins the forums.
April 11, 2006 A.D. - The “bobmart opinion” Incident. bobmart joins the forums. In hopes of trolling, bobmart created a topic criticizing Pokèmon-X and described it as the worst comic ever. In his post, he mentioned “poor graphics, little to no comedy, no action, obscene behavior and ‘NO WOW FACTOR’” made the comic terrible. Members soon read his topic and began to criticize him for lapses of proper judgment when talking about Pokèmon-X, bad grammar, and his outrageous claim of “obscene behavior”, defending the comic by saying that it was rated MA for a reason. bobmart later logs on and admits that he was not serious in his post and it was his way of saying “hello”. Banov also comments that he did not support bobmart’s opinion or actions, but he did say that the other members who flamed back should not have attacked him like they did. The actual incident only lasted a day, but bobmart received negative reputation and unfavorable standing on the forums until he is banned later the same year.
April 17-28, 2006 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions Months since posting in the topic, mjc0961 asks if Nintendo has confirmed the release of the games yet. So far no sources directly from Nintendo confirm this and Dunsparce and mjc0961 fight a little. Dunsparce finally says: “Ugh! You are one of the most Stubborn people I have EVER met. . . Diamond and Pearl WILL come out in the future. And Once they do, I'll NEVER let down about your constant doubting”. gojithefox posts “irrefutable proof from Nintendo’s forums but mjc0961 believes that information from a forum is incredibly stupid and he still stands by the fact that no source has been from Nintendo or a first party source.
May 3, 2006 A.D. - Pokeghost, who was originally known as Deku Link, joins the forums.
May 18, 2006 A.D. - pvtje joins the forums.
May 27, 2006 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Discussions daveshn posts a first party source of the new Pokèmon games. The debate over the games’ existence is over because of this.
June 8-14, 2006 A.D. - CATZEN’s Return. Because of his negative history and frequent post deletion, when he announced in a topic he returned, many members showed disappointment and didn’t welcome him back. mjc0961 made a post, saying that a member who left, gojithefox, was actually worse than CATZEN and questioned why people sided with gojithefox and not CATZEN. Even though CATZEN caused trouble in the past, mjc0961 defended CATZEN by citing that CATZEN deleted over half of his posts because he wanted the other forum members to forgive him and wondered why somebody as pompous as gojithefox was not considered for a ban of any sort. He demanded that CATZEN be given a second chance.
July 7, 2006 A.D. - Rick Xeros presents his comic, Digimon Legends, to the forum. It is the most popular Digimon comic to appear and gains much support.
July 9, 2006 A.D. - Dragonice315 joins the forums.
July 18, 2006 A.D. - twilightmoon, coming from Pebble Version and known to lash out at people, joins the forums.
July 26, 2006 A.D. - Banov-mjc0961 Flame War: The “N00b” Battle. According to mjc0961, Banov accused mjc0961 of thinking that Recon Dye was a noob. He created a topic about it, while being sarcastic about the problem. Many think the topic is pointless and wouldn’t help solve anything, but mjc0961 insists he created it to be informative and to show how Banov supposedly “fed him opinions”. The topic devolves into calling out who is a “n00b” on the forum and who isn’t.
July 28, 2006 A.D. - DemonicChocobo, noticing similarities of the new members and having some disdain from the new members, creates a humorous topic called “On The Origin of Noobs”.
July 30, 2006 A.D. - rual77, later known as Joey Wheeler, joins the forums.
August 1-2, 2006 A.D. - The Ban Wars. Only two days as a member, rual77 posts a topic appealing for the ban of bobmart. Veterans believe that he is overstepping his boundaries as a new member, but support the thread anyway. Other members wish for the banishment of others, such as Banov, mjollnir, and rual77.
August 1-2, 2006 A.D. - Banov-mjc0961 Flame War: The “N00b” Battle. Banov accuses mjc0961 twisting his words around to make Banov look guilty, but mjc0961 says that he called Banov out for exactly what he said and didn’t twist any words around.
August 2, 2006 A.D. - The Boundaries Issue. Tired of seeing Banov and mjc0961 flaming on the forums in almost every forum, rual77 decides to set up a thread dedicated to mjc0961 and Banov titling it “mjc0961 and banov flame thread”. mjc0961 believes that rual77 is overstepping his boundaries as a fairly new member and proceeds on flaming him. At first, very little flaming actually occurs, and it is not between Banov and mjc0961, but rather, rual77. For the time being, the thread is a spam thread.
August 14, 2006 A.D. - The Ban Wars. The topic title, rather than having bobmart in it, is changed to Shedra and pokemonhater.
August 15-17, 2006 A.D. - The Boundaries Issue. mjc0961, who once considered rual77 to be an excellent new member, becomes disappointed in rual77 for “thinking you can tell us what to do” and declares that he will flame whoever and wherever he wants. Although urged not to reply to mjc0961 any more, rual77 says he is tired of the flaming mjc0961 is causing and cannot understand why Banov is being flamed in the first place. Banov points out that nothing will change, citing how Recon Dye asked mjc0961 to stop posting vomiting people pictures in Banov’s topics yet the occurrences are still existent.
August 19-22, 2006 A.D. - The “English” Incident. Rick Xeros created a topic saying that he believed the new fad of “n out of n” threads were overrated and stupid. Banov made a post saying that each thread that was fashioned from the “n out of n” pattern got “stupider” as time went on. mjc0961, seeing the grammar error and how “stupider” wasn’t a word, brought up this issue in the thread with Banov. A small argument with Banov begins, but bobmart, a member whose account is currently deleted, argues that “stupider” is a word, citing the definition of “word” from an online dictionary.
August 26, 2006 A.D. - The “English” Incident. bobmart still insists that “stupider” is a word, to which mjc0961 contends that “ain’t” isn’t a word either, but bobmart claims that “ain’t” is not a word as well.
August 26-28, 2006 A.D. - The Ban Wars. Banov asks mjc0961 to stop flaming him using a mock of what mjc0961 said earlier. It is revealed that mjc0961 does not even hate Banov, which surprises many.
August 30-31, 2006 A.D. - The “English” Incident. bobmart argues that mjc0961 is still incorrect, as the definition given by the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary states that a word is “a written or printed character or combination of characters representing a spoken word”, thus making both “stupider” and “ain’t” words in a technical sense. He then cites another thread where mjc0961 used the terms “biatch” and “necroposting”, saying that by the logic mjc0961 is using, mjc0961 also used non-existent words. Later, mjc0961 spots a spelling error, a misspelling of “hypocrite”, to which bobmart contends that he never made that spelling mistake, despite the edit tag on the post indicating so and claimed mjc0961 never had any proof that he edited it after the mistake was mentioned.
September 1-10, 2006 A.D. - The “English” Incident. mjc0961 and bobmart still argue, both sides claiming they win the argument. bobmart still maintains that mjc0961 cannot substantiate his claim and mjc0961 remains content at believing bobmart’s argument has a weak premise and no basis whatsoever. Both are at a stalemate, using the opponent’s logic against themselves, even going so far as to accuse bobmart of dictating what are and aren’t words and not actually referencing a dictionary to solidify his claims.
September 12, 2006 A.D. - The “English” Incident. After much debate over the English language and its words, bobmart conceded and a day before made the promise that if mjc0961 answered his questions regarding what were and weren’t words he would stop posting, which he ignored and continued to argue. This argument ends after many days, making a significant point of how stubborn both users were, and ultimately, would be the last debate from bobmart until he is banned.
September 20, 2006 A.D. - bobmart is banned from the forums due to flaming and spamming. Because the topic for him is not created until November 15, 2006 A.D., mjc0961 has bobmart’s IP address in his signature for about two months.
September 20, 2006 A.D. - bigbboy1234 becomes a moderator of the fan fiction section.
September 21, 2006 A.D. - The karma feature of the forum is deleted. This is due to the problems and retribution arising from the function.
October 1, 2006 A.D. - Ace4698 joins the forums.
October 6-7, 2006 A.D. - The “Blown Away” Incident. Unsatisfied with the hostility mjc0961 displayed toward others on the forums, Away confronted mjc0961 suggesting that if mjc0961’s combative approach was to cease, others would not make stupid posts. He then says “But to STAY ON TOPIC” and contributed to the topic at hand. mjc0961 believed Away’s statement was pompous and that he “acted like he owned the place” and proceeded to post a defamatory picture directed toward Away. A small flame war occurred, which responded in Away using sarcasm and attempts to not derail the topic, but mjc0961 accuse Away of being a hypocrite. This confrontation spilled into another thread where Away noticed another fight where people “argue like little twelve year old girls”. mjc0961 criticized Away and made fun of his username and his posts, calling him a “prick” who was “really making a rush for (Kevin Clifford’s) title of second dumbest forum member”. Away was offended, stating that all he wanted to do was to discuss the comic but instead encountered hostility from a veteran who mocked anybody who didn’t agree with him. On October 7, he decides he is done with the forum because he searched for “Pokèmon-related forums, and every single one has some intelligent life on it ... with the exception of this one.” He then tells mjc0961 to “go die. You’re a waste of life.”
November 14, 2006 A.D. - Rick Xeros becomes a moderator for the Shameless Plugs and Links Discussion forums.
November 17, 2006 A.D. - daveshn becomes the moderator of the Pokèmon-X Discussion and Fan Fiction forums. He assumes the position after Banov is terminated.
November 28, 2006 A.D. - Wang Hung Lo joins the forums. He immediately is promoted to moderate the General Discussion and Pokèmon-X RPG Discussion forums.
December 13, 2006 A.D. - After talking with Recon on IM, mjc0961 asked Recon Dye a question which he claimed to be a “simple question” and got an unfavorable response. mjc0961, confused as to what happened, continues the discussion with Recon Dye. After some time, Recon gives mjc0961 a month’s suspension on the forums, to which mjc0961 decides he will not return to the forums. Though others are unsure of the true nature of what happened, many are also relieved that mjc0961 is gone.
December 13, 2006 A.D. - daveshn makes the Second Annual Worst Comic Ever Contest. reubo is the winner of this contest.
March 4, 2007 A.D. - lukaskirkby joins the forums.
March 6, 2007 A.D. - lukaskirkby opens a sprite shop, which becomes one of the most popular sprite shops in the entire forum.
May 26, 2007 A.D. - Due to excessive inactivity by Wang Hung Lo, DemonicChocobo takes over his responsibilities as a moderator. Wang Hung Lo is demoted.

December 19, 2007 A.D. - SeriousJupiter joins the forums.
January 27, 2008 A.D. - firecroc, renamed Lord of the Fire!, joins the forums.

May 31, 2008 A.D. - The forums went offline temporarily due to a fire, which damaged the server.
June 3, 2008 A.D. - A set of temporary forums allowed the boards to get back online. Only four users were present and active on these boards (Recon Dye, BAM, Rick Xeros, and chaoman45). The temporary forums even contained the defunct karma feature. The actual forums came back online the same day.
June 11, 2008 A.D. - saberoflink joins the forums.
June 17, 2008 A.D. bj’s Last Stand. Still carrying a 50% warn level from breaking multiple rules in the past, bj was on his final warning. A Pokèmon-X coloring contest was in progress, where BAM created a coloring page that participants had to finish. bj, not wishing to enter the contest, took a copy of the picture and modified it by putting devil horns on Recon Dye, among other edits and erased BAM’s signature so that he could write in his own. Feeling that it was a copyright violation, BAM insisted that the picture be removed.
June 17, 2008 A.D. bj’s Last Stand. In a PM, it is revealed that bj has disdain for BAM. According to her, bj inquired if she was doing request, to which she politely replied that she was doing commissions at the time and turned him down. Feeling upset, bj began to immediately praise other peoples’ art and critiqued BAM. This helps explain part of his behavior and why he blatantly violated copyright laws.
June 18, 2008 A.D. - bj is banned on multiple offenses. Among these offenses would include spamming, necroposting, flaming, and harassing a moderator.
July 1, 2008 A.D. - pvtje created a topic about the Pokèmon Movie 10 but disguised the link, which would actually transfer people to porn.
July 2, 2008 A.D. - pvtje is banned for posting a porn link.

October 17, 2008 A.D. - pokemonxmaniac joins the forums.
October 21-25, 2008 A.D. - SeriousJupiter’s “Test”. A new member who had a lot to say, pokemonxmaniac, posts a thread detailing a “dream comic”. It tells of his dream and what happened in it, such as Wally being sent to Hell. He asks Recon Dye to make this dream comic a reality. Unimpressed, SeriousJupiter calmly explains that this idea is the “weirdest crap” he’s ever read, albeit also accusing pokemonxmaniac of being high on drugs at the time. SeriousJupiter suggests that he reads the rules and welcomes the new member. The new member instantly tells SeriousJupiter that he read the rules and warns SeriousJupiter not to post like that again. SeriousJupiter respects his contribution to the forum, but also says the idea is “ridiculous” and apologizes if he ever hurt the new member’s feelings. He also jokes around when the word filter for the misspelling of “Brendan” changes his post, jokingly calling pokemonxmaniac an idiot (The filter reads out “I mispelled the main character's name because I'm an idiot“). The new member felt offended and SeriousJupiter apologized again for any misbehavior on his end. While others comment on the thread, pokemonxmaniac gets the idea that SeriousJupiter is picking on him for no reason, but others are curious as to why he abuses emoticons and the post sign so many times, leaving them confused. He goes so far as to claim that BAM does not deserve the power she possesses. Feeling that the conversation is annoying, SeriousJupiter explains calmly that it’s hard to act civilly and in a good manner when pokemonxmaniac is acting so immature and random. After asking Recon Dye to ban pokemonxmaniac, Recon Dye feels that SeriousJupiter is mature and makes good judgment to become moderator on October 25, 2008. bigbboy1234, due to insane inactivity, is demoted to co-moderator for the forums he held as a local moderator. No topic is ever made for pokemonxmaniac in the ban list forum.

November 29, 2008 A.D. - The Pokèmon-X chat room, an idea spawned from a suggestion of an Official Chat Thread, is launched. Some regular members result from this, as well as affiliation from Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged Series.
December 5, 2008 A.D. - pac0thetac0 joins the forums.
December 6, 2008 A.D. - Shadane joins the forums.
December 13, 2008 A.D. - nintendoowned joins the forums.
January 15, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge Feeling that the only spam thread on the forum, the Spam Lounge, resulted in an influx of spam rather than a reduction, he asked the regular members to persuade and convince him to let the thread live on. If he wasn’t convinced, he would lock it. A few supported the thread to stay, while mostly moderators wished for it to be locked. Abizarro and Nintendo owned gave insightful reasoning for the thread to remain open and defended it.
January 19, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge DemonicChocobo was unimpressed that only a few of the many frequent posters of the thread attempted to make decent and intelligent posts, and was about to lock the thread. He then reviewed what Rick Xeros and gooman said. He concluded that he would not let the thread be locked forever, but rather, he would take a single week to think about it and decide if it would remain locked or not.
January 20-26, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge chaoman45 realized that DemonicChocobo really wanted intelligent discussion rather than mindless spam plaguing the board, so he typed up a defense and gave reasons why the Spam Lounge should be unlocked for future use in the “Spam Lounge’s future” thread. Pleased with the thread, many contribute their perspectives and their testimonies. DemonicChocobo informed the users that he was fairly lenient when it came to off-topic discussion so long as it was interesting, but was worried that topics were purposely killed off or forced discussion took place just because it could. He admits that he had no problem with the Spam Lounge because he did not read it much, but thought the Spam Lounge increased spam within General Discussion as well, due to the number of topics he had to lock in that period of time. The thread reveals that a vast majority either supports the thread or don’t care much either way.
January 26, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge The Spam Lounge is unlocked. DemonicChocobo determines that there is no evidence of spam actually increasing as a whole because he only cites one or two members anonymously and lays down ground rules, giving the Spam Lounge conditions so it may stay open.
January 27, 2009 A.D. - Shadane starts the Fourth Annual Worst Comic Ever Contest. Seven entries total are counted.
April 13, 2009 A.D. - Due to some conflicts with scheduling and judging, a winner isn’t declared until this date. Tired of waiting and considering the vote counts, chaoman45 decides that abizarro should be declared the winner.

April 13, 2009 A.D. - Due to some conflicts with scheduling and judging, a winner isn’t declared until this date. Tired of waiting and considering the vote counts, chaoman45 decides that abizarro should be declared the winner.
