Some of you may remember it, most new people do not. For those that have no idea what I am talking about let me tell you. About a year ago maybe even more every page this comic had background music to go with it. If it was during a battle then battle music played, if they were in a pokecenter then the pokemon center music played. On holidays a midi of a song from that holiday played. etc, etc. Now I have to say that I thought this was awesome, amazing, and simply Epic. This small little thing made the comic stand out from other webcomics in my eyes. Then the site went a little buggy and after it was fixed the background music was gone. I thought it was because the site still was messed up, but even months later it didn't return. I talked to Recon about it recently and he said that it wasn't because the site was messed up and he had to take it down, But that fans were complaining about the background music so he took it down for them. In turn it makes me disappointed that fans wouldn't like such an awesome feature that made his webcomic stand out.
Now for the reason I made this thread, I want to know what the people that remember the background music thought about it and if they think it should return or if the comic is better off without it. For those of you not around at that time, I want to know if you think something like that sounds cool or not.

Yeah, I remember the background music. I loved it. But I understand why Recon had to take it down, so I'm not gonna start asking him to put it back. Unless he wants to do it himself.

I accidentaly voted "I don't know". I meant to vote "no". The music screwed m coputer up and made it as fast as a snail. (although it is usually as fast as a turtle...)

So it's not much of a difference, eh, Gooman?

well, It's more ike comparing a turtle on steroids and a handicapped snail... It's was enough of a difference to make me stop reading the comic so my computer actually could go semi-fast.

Well, in that case you probably don't want the music back.

I think the occational background music wouldn't hurt as long as he doesn't over use it

Actually the first time I went to the page, my speakers were on loud. The page came up and suddenly the music pretty much made me piss myself because it came out of nowhere. Yeah, it was awesome because it gave more of an atmosphere to the comic itself and I really felt that it added creativity and feeling for the comic. I was surprised when in the summer or fall of 2007 it went down. I thought my computer messed up. Turns out people like using old Windows 98 or MAC COMPUTERS (yeah I went there) so it made them lag a bit. I was hoping there could at least be an option as to whether music would play or not, but I would rather see new comics before resurrecting the music.

I like the ideaof having the choice to turn it on or off 3rd. I would like to see both happen

XP is still pretty old in terms of computer standards.
Funny how people are trying to prove a generalisation wrong though.
