I dont think Brendan is gonna lose, he's becoming a smarter better trainer. Plus i dont think Recon will put us through the torture of rebattling as with Wattson 2 gyms in a row

Thats true. It would be cool if they had the egg and when it hatched it was a different Pokemon than a Wynaut. True that the comic is based on the game but maybe adding a little twist could spice it up. Instead of a Wynaut it could be a baby Bagon. Just an idea. =D

1. Brendan will not lose to a chick. Nuff said.
2. Whoever gets the egg and hatches the pokemon will be the owner of said pokemon. I doubt Recon will copy bad ideas from the anime.

I think it'd be hilarious if Brendan lost to Flannery. So far Brendan has lost only twice, and he has always defeated every girl who has challenged him, so I think it would serve Brendan right to lose to a girl for a change. Your right. I think Brendan should lose against Flannery but I dont think he deserves it. Its not as if he is too cocky. Brendan is cocky, and he has proved it many times. Anyways I agree with yall I think Brendan is going to lose on like the first trainer and he has to go back and "train" at the hot springs I wonder what kind of "training" will that be... I said the idea of the egg was an IDEA. Like I said, adding a twist could spice it up it. I'm not saying it WILL happen, I'm just putting ideas towards my imagination.
And Brendan losing to Flannery? No way. A rebattle and 2 lost Gym battles in a row, not likely to happen for now.

Brendan has been cocky - In the Trick House - In the Mauville Gym - During his battles with May - During his battle with Maxie I guess he wasn't overly cocky, but cocky nevertheless. I think that the first two Overheats can handle almost everything Brendan has.

I think they'll just pass the egg entirly... it's just too predictable. Hell, I never hatch that egg until after I beat the elite 4.
And if only recon had kept may at age ten, then I could have pulled off an awsome refence relating to SJ's posts...

But they need the egg for the Pokedex.
Also, if May was still 10 then the funny ball jokes and double entendres wouldn't have been used or make sense.
