Chaoman45, wondering, if Recon did add a new member to the gang, who'd you like to see join? If you want my honest opinion, I would say nobody. The group is fine the way it is and Recon can spend time developing characters that already are in the party. Though I do know it would add some good times, it would be equally funny if Brendan lusted over Flannery outside of the pre-existing party. |

I know that there are others who wish that someone came along and joined Brendan, Rocky, Wally, and May as a new travel companion. I wonder what my fellow readers would recommend for a new friend if they had a chance. Of course the character would be someone canon in the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald games (mainly to give Recon less work to do). For me, It'd be Flannery. her being part of the gang would definetely would envoke a pseudo-love Triangle between her, Brendan, and May. mainly having Brendan being drawn to Flannery due to her *ahem* rack, and May would get jealous at Flannery for having Brendan's attention more than herself. throw in Monty and things would definately be chaotic (in a funny way). Flannery of course will have no interest in Brendan, but she may flirt with him to do stuff frequently, therefore giving Brendan and May the illusion that she's in love with the loveable white haired idiot. (no offense Recon!!!) That is an interesting idea, but like I already said in the Storyline Discussion, Flannery can't leave her Gym just like that. I admit that her being part of the gang would be super-awesome, because no one loves Flannery more than I, but I think it would be kinda pointless and it wouldn't make any sense either. It'd be funny to see Flannery flirting with Brendan to get what she wants (I can totally see her doing that!), but I think she doesn't need a fourteen-year-old Sugar Daddy. She's a Gym Leader, and according to the anime, Gym Leaders get paid really well, so apparently she has lots of money. And besides... Since May steals all Brendan's money anyway, how could he be able to buy Flannery expensive gifts? Let Flannery stay in Lavaridge Town. And I hope Monty won't join the gang. I hate him. |

by the look of things, Monty will confront the gang soon, but I also hope he doesn't join the gang. and I never said that I wanted Flannery to become a permanent member.
