Chaoman45 (You're doing a lot of little community based things. These things will hopefully leave an influence on the forum.) Banov (COME BAAAACK ) Daveshn (COME BAAAACK ) RAZEK (COME BAAAACK ) Rick X (COME BAAA- Oh wait. Disregard that.) mjc (I hate his guts but he left a huge impact on this forum. Or would have if it wasn't for the purge.) ... More than half of my nominations went to dead people.

That's understandable, you knew them much longer than the rest of us.

I wish Daveshn would come back. I know he is probably busy working and writing right now, but I would have liked to have known the Fan Fiction moderator.
On the note of mjc, I just read the timeline about the 2006 events and looked up the topics, and I can truly say that that must have been a crazy time, so I agree with DC voting mjc as a Legend even if he was not particularly nice.
Still, I am satisfied knowing those currently active on the forum. Even with a large shift in notable members it is a great place.

I'd like to change my vote for Abizzaro into a vote for Banov. I just remembered how awsome BAPA was.

In no real order:
1. SeriousJupiter- He is pretty laid back, despite his claim of being a serious member. Not only that, he seems to be the only active mod on the forum, surpassing daveshn, who had the most posts as a mod for the last ever. His influence can be seen throughout the forum in any section. His posts appeal to any member because of varied interests in the comic, intelligent discussion (especially when Finland is involved), sprites, the arts, and I think video games. Within about one year since joining, he received modship and became the only European moderator in recent memory. He made an impact when he first joined and stuck around to this day, influencing many to respect him as a mod and member.
2. Banov- Oh my, where to start. As we may or may not know, he has engaged in many fights with mjc before and was once a moderator of the forums. Even though he's nowhere to be seen today, his legacy through writing most of BAPA and his interesting posts will forever make him remembered. And in a good way, too. One of the most amazing things I noticed is that he and mjc fought the most. Now, mjc fought with probably a majority of the forum members who were active at one point, but the surprising thing is that Banov never left. Constantly, for nearly a year, mjc declared his resentment of Banov and proved it by jumping at him. Whereas some members left within a few months because of mjc (or even in the matter of a few days or less) or simply took some time off to avoid mjc, Banov didn't have to leave for an extensive period of time during these fights. It shows his strong will or stubbornness.
3. mjc0961- At first, I wasn't going to choose him because he doesn't even care about the forums anymore and he caused a lot of trouble; probably more than the good he created on the forum. Then again, I think overall he hasn't exactly gotten a fair assessment because people who read the timeline paid attention to where he engaged in fighting but probably don't remember his efforts to defend even unpopular members. They also might remember his stubborn and insulting attitude on things like the new Pokemon games but fail to see how he would prompt friends to join (which they did) and how he never had to go with the crowd on what was popular at the time because he wasn't dependent on unconditional support. Those who fought him don't like him even more, but that's not important. What is important is his contribution to the forum and how he attempted to keep forum order (for the most part, aside from his flames) during a particularly active time. Knowing him, I bet he logged on every day to contribute. So why vote him in as a Legend? Post-2007 members most likely haven't even talked with him and got to know his side of things, and of course, this creates a biased view that makes people focus more on how "mean and unrelenting" he was as opposed to what he DID contribute to the forums. Remember PETBN? Remember how he knew what would happen later in the storyline but nobody else did? This guy had real connections with Recon. If he was as bad as people made him out to be, he would have been banned long before bobmart or kult7.
4. daveshn- The mod who helped finish BAPA and is currently trying to write a book (I think). He's been another big Legend on the forums and continues to grace us with his presence every full moon. Like Banov, he would endure lots of flames from mjc, even though both of them were good friends. He's around enough to ensure the Fan Fiction section doesn't go to Hell in a handbasket and enforces strict grammar rules, which drastically improves the quality of whatever is posted there. In fact, his presence has made the Fan Fiction section one of the most quality, intelligent forums on this entire board because of the expectations. He's also still active enough to link pages to the comic. Sure, the guys who joined in 2008 or later might not know him as well, but go through his older posts and you'll see what I mean about him encouraging quality posts.
5. DemonicChocobo- Extensive history and catches onto things quickly. As a member, some viewed him as sort of a "so-so" member but proved that he was a capable member capable of modding two forums. He's the guy who created the "Worst Comic Ever" contest that is still something that's being done to this day. The super serial "On the Origin of Noobs" can be credited to him. In more recent memory, he closed the Spam Lounge to encourage intelligent discussion rather than simply spam. Though some were opposed to this action, it proved how he, as well as the other mods in ancient history (daveshn, bigbboy1234 believe it or not was serious and into his duties, etc.) took his responsibility well and implemented fair rule over the forum - the same forum that nominated him for Best Moderator of all time.
6. Gooman- Even though he's new, his one and only creation guarantees activity on the forum every day, which is something that used to not happen. The Spam Lounge creation is the best of its kind. Any other attempt at a spam thread died out quickly, even if more members were present. For some reason, this particular thread was worth posting and fighting for to keep open. Despite Paco winning the Spam King award, Gooman will still be credited for being the Spam Legend.
Having said that, the votes have been tallied.
SeriousJupiter- 11 votes Gooman- 8 votes chaoman45- 7 votes Panda- 7 votes
The poll is now up. Choose three of the above and they will become the next Legends.

Wow, Chaoman. Those are some detailed analyses of who you consider legends. It makes me appreciate all six of them more.
