I really don't want to start a religous arguement over this, but It wasn't actually recorded what day Jesus was born. Just that it was near a solstice. So we're either spot-on or completely missed.

You guys- Jesus's actual birthday isn't the point. The point is that one day out of the year we celebrate his birthday, whether he was born on the 25th or not.
Think of it like somebody's birthday being on a Thursday but the big birthday celebration is put off until the weekend.
