But I think your names are horribly off. They'll include the words 'ruby' and 'sapphire' in each respective title. I'd say "Ruby Lips" and "Sapphire Eyes," but that sounds retarded-ly lame. "Burnt Ruby" and "Frozen Sapphire" perhaps?

For some reason, LandRuby and SeaSapphire came to my mind. I even made an outline for a fake remake, SkyEmerald.
If remakes do occur, I most look forward to seeing how Hoenn changes to accomodate fourth generation standards (i.e. GTS) as well as gym leader rosters. Juan needs an Empoleon. Those two are twins.

Raging Ruby and Soothing Saphire. Fire is anger and rage, sea is calm and cool. (Which is why I prefer Team Aqua. And that Emerald and Ruby made them look like good guys.)
And opening up the southern sea with all those islands (Near the Battle Frontier) would be awsome.

VF, they would use the 5th Generation standard for the remakes. What those standards are is a mystery.

Bah - hahah. Too soon!
I don't think they're in need of a remake just yet. Granted, they rocked socks, but not every Gen has to have a DS equiv. nao.
I guess. . .Rambo Ruby and Sexy Sapphire.
Elusive Emerald.

"Ruby Lips" and "Sapphire Eyes," I burst out laughing when I read that. That would be the funniest retarded thing ever. ;D But I hope Nintendo won't remake the third generation. There's no need for that.

But I hope Nintendo won't remake the third generation. There's no need for that. I cite, at least, 95% of the posts I've made about Horrible Games and Sucky Shit Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

I do think hoenn needa a remake. Sure we can get thier legends in HG/SS blah blah blah, but Generation three was the second best, after gen 2. Red Ruby and Sea Sapphire. Nah, too plain

Hmmm. I'd be intrested, but first I want to raise something that's been on my mind for a while.
They seem to be remaking the games every two generations, but what happens when they need to remake games again? Since Red/Blue were remade in gen 3, does that mean they'll be remade again in gen 5? Maybe not, but the situation would happen eventually. And what will happen in 15 years or so? Will they be releasing multiple remakes in one generation?
I'm probably looking too much into this, and it's purely hypothetical, but it could happen eventually.

The third Gen is perfect the way it is. No remaking is needed.

Thats what people said about Gold and Silver SJ. There was still a remake.
I'm thinking that there probably will be a remake. But it won't be in Gen V. With HG/SS we are now able to catch nearly every pokemon (That isn't an event one). Unless there is a radical makeover of the EV/IV system (Like in Gen III) there will not be one anytime soon.

Oh well, Emerald is good enough. A Gen 3 remake would be a bonus, not a fulfilled necessity.
