The ending was very unexpected from you, Recon, but this raises the question, just who is Monty's real parents and granparents? And where's the contract saying that Monty won't show up ever again?
Still, this information is interesting, I'd better go add this to Monty's Wiki page..

You still update the Pokémon-X Wiki? I thought that thing was long since deceased.
And I bet those relatives Monty mentioned in his flashback really are his parents and grandparents. They're all aliens. I guess that Monty's parents were summoned back to their home planet shortly after Monty's birth, and they were told to leave him on Earth with his grandparents, who would teach him all about their race and their secret mission.
I just wonder what that secret mission is.

Cabinet had recently finished his LP Emerald in a similar fashion, and it was Lance who gave him the idea.
I didn't even know Recon reads LPs in Gaming Discussion... I wonder if he reads my art thread? Nah, probably not. I rarely draw Pokémon-X fan art.

What did Lance & Cabinet have to do with the comic's abrupt ending? Originally we were talking on LIVE about Cabinet's LP. I also said this is how Monty should die. Lulz were had and then an awkward silence. A week later, lulz were, again, had. God bless me. And if anyone is seriously missing out on the damn joke, watch the episode of the Simpsons. There's no damn backstory here. There's no family. There;s no aliens. There's none of that crap, man. It's a throw-away gag. Run with it. Also, I've been referenced in four P-X News posts now (My birthday, Recon's x-mas Game Cube, Anime Expo, this one). The only onther people who come to mind in those news posts on more than two or so mentions are Recon's girlfriends. I'm now Recon's official stalker ~ <3 |

Lance, I got the joke. I've seen that episode. It's just so silly and out-of-place for Pokémon-X that there has to be a backstory. Seriously, so far there has been nothing sillier (or more awesome) than this in the comic, and all the silly things so far have been explained, and usually they have all made some sort of sense.
Rocky's abilities - two Pokéri
Wally's craziness - his crazy mother
Cinnabar Island - a dream
And so on. But come on, Monty being swept away from Earth to another planet?! The only explanation is that he and his relatives are aliens sent to Earth on a secret mission.
I'm not saying that this has to lead to any future storylines. This whole thing could be swept under a rug and completely ignored for all I care. I'm sure Monty and his relatives will never be seen again in the comic, and that's all right, because 1) Nobody liked them and 2) Since the gang now knows that Monty was an alien, his grandparents must go to hiding before the gang informs the authorities.
I just like coming up with explanations for silly things, OK?!?!?!
