It has been about six months since the first voting began. I always wanted at least six people inducted into this during the first year, and perhaps more in the future. Plus, by the time this ends I'll have some pips you could put in your sig or whatever. The same rules apply, but if you're too lazy to look here, then here's the jist of it:
Pokémon-X Legend Voting!
What is it?
At the moment, this thread is for your nominations for what you would consider to be the legendary members of the forum; users, who would be remembered (in a good way) for years to come, even if he or she became inactive. They are the respected members of this forum and pretty much the historical figures that did or represented something on this forum. There will be three total for now. That might sound like a lot, but just look at the forum stats. There are over 4,000 members here and only six get this honour. The Legends will eventually consist of about .001% of the forum size. Still sound like a lot of people being awarded such a high honour now?
Why do this?
We need to pay our respects to those who deserve it. We don’t even have a lot of active pre-2008 members anymore, and I feel it’s a shame that some of you never got to meet the big folk of yesteryear. Plus, I think being labeled down in the timeline is an incentive for a lot of you, right? You might not care about heritage as much as I do, especially on a message board, but I still think we need to officially recognise the best of the best.
Where are we doing this?
Derp.
Who is doing this?
Anybody who has an account is free to nominate.
How does this work?
Right now, each user is allowed 6 nominations. YOU MUST NOMINATE AT LEAST 6, NO MORE NO LESS. If you can’t think of enough people, then just vote for a random new person who doesn’t post, idk. You have until June 5th to make your decisions, so you aren’t rushed to pick 6 right now. Shortly after this deadline, I’ll tally up the votes and you’ll be able to vote for 3 people like it’s a tournament.
By the way, unlike the user awards, you are free to change as many times as you want until the deadline. Just indicate if it's your final answer. But just know that I won't count your vote unless you have exactly six people.
