So I bought Captain America on DVD on Monday and I watched it yesterday. It wasn't as good as I remembered. I watched Thor right after it, and there's no comparison in which was a better movie. I've seen Thor a few times now, and oddly, it seems to get better each time. That doesn't usually happen. Anyway, I'm pretty psyched for The Avengers this year.

"Excuse, I'm looking for a Mr. Ace Ventura."
"No one in this monastery carries a label with them."
"Ah, of course. Well, he's an American..."
"We are all children of the same life force."
"He bends over and speaks out of his rear."
"Oh, THAT guy. I'll take you to him."
Bahaha, these movies are still funny xD

I went to see Hugo today. I was told to see it, because apparently it's such a good movie, and it really was. It was the most touching film I've seen in ages. I didn't cry, but I was very moved. I don't watch a lot of movies about real life, but I'm starting to think that I should.

I've been thinking about going to see it, but that's going to have to wait, because the next movie I'm going to see in theatres is Iron Sky. I'm going to go see it with Comnurmi later this week. He's a history nut, he'll probably get a kick out of seeing that film and then talking to me about everything in it I didn't get. Also, I've been buying a few DVDs lately. I bought two old DreamWorks movies I used to watch as a kid - The Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams. I loved them both when I watched them again after many years... I suddenly have an urge to read the Bible. Also, I bought one Disney movie I hadn't seen before, Brother Bear. That movie didn't entertain me much. No wonder, it was made in the early 00s, during Disney's downfall after all the great movies they made in the 90s.

Human Centipede, not as bad as it was made out to be. Sure it was gruesome but eh, Saw made me cringe more. Watching Transformers 3 and Sanctum today on my PS Vita so I shall report back on them after my 6 hour total car drive.

Saw the Muppet Movie on the plane ride (it was Business Class Plus- I only got that good a seat because there were extras)- it was amazing. I didn't even watch the Muppets when I was a kid and I was nostalgaing all over the place.

Iron Sky was AWESOME. It was completely ridiculous and yet SO entertaining and epic. I never would've thought that us Finns would make such a great film, yet alone such a great film about space Nazis.
Seriously, I can't even remember everything I loved in the movie, but the best parts included the President of the USA using Nazi propaganda in her election campaign, a simple cell phone and an Apple computer being able to power up the Nazis' war machine and Finland being the only nation in the entire UN who didn't arm their spaceships. Priceless stuff.
The main characters were excellent. The black astronaut who was turned white, the naive Nazi lady who really believed her own propaganda, and the big baddie who wanted to conquer Earth all worked really well.
Everyone who loves good comedies, go see it.
