Used to work at Blockbuster Video and bought a bunch of films before my store closed in April. Finally watching one of them: The Cabinet of Caligari.
Edit: Turns out it's not the classic movie, but the 1960s movie with a similar name and ending. Still good.

I haven't seen MIB3 yet, but I did buy the first two movies on DVD. They were just as good as I remembered, if not better. I'll definitely go see MIB3 next week.

I got Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game Of Shadows along with the first one for my birthday and I must say it was great and was worth the money.

Saw Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter yesterday. It was a nice movie with good action and some good interactions between a young Abe Lincoln and Mary Todd. Haven't read the book yet, but I'm gonna look into getting it.

I saw MIB3 last week and it really was awesome. During the movie I thought I'd figured out how it would end, but I turned out to be wrong. Timetravel stories are always fun.

I got Ghostbusters 1 & 2 last week because they're both really good movies and I'm hoping the third one that will be coming out next year is also just as good.

Finally watched Wild, Wild West from beginning to end. Best steampunk-action-comedy-western out there. (Will Smith certainly is in a lot of Cop-Buddy movies.)

I went to see the new movie about a certain arachnid superhero last Friday, perhaps you've heard of him. I highly recommend the movie to everyone who's not bothered by too human-like lizard faces and not afraid of blonde girlfriends falling from bridges.
SPOILER!
She won't fall from a bridge in the movie.

Why did I read SJ's spoiler!? Now that movie about the teenage boy who fights crime after being mutated by an experimental, eight-legged arthropod is ruined for me. Anyone see the trailer for the new Disney Movie, Wreck-It Ralph? It looks interesting to me.

Actually, my brother saw the Spider Man movie and said it was really bad. There're apparently lots of plot holes in it. Such as the lizard breaking Spidey's web shooters and then them working a few seconds later, Spidey's sticking-powers working through his shoes, how he got his spider powers was bad...

Yeah, those things were bad, but they didn't ruin the film for me. I think Andrew Garfield did a great job as both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. I loved Sam Raimi's Spidey films, but Tobey Maguire never really impressed me.

Brave was great; another golden animated movie from those boys at Pixar. I think. I don't really know but the accent was funny. My brother thought the plot seemed a bit forced, but I didn't really think so. It's magic, it doesn't need to make sense.
Meanwhile, Ted is the best movie I have seen in a long, long time. Funniest movie you'll ever see, but with one of the most emotional endings I've seen in a comedy. Almost Futurama-esque in that regard.
(Both movies really throw things out of left field, Ted doing so more literally.)

I haven't even heard of either of those films. Shows how much attention I pay to new releases that haven't arrived in Finland yet. Anyway, yesterday I went to see The Amazing Spider-Man for the second time, this time with my sister. All she had to say about the film after she'd seen it was "lovely" with a big smile on her face. That was exactly the reaction I'd hoped. By the way, Dave, I payed more attention to those things you (and I) said were bad this time and I noticed that Spidey's web shooters were not seen "working a few seconds later" after the Lizard broke them. Of course Peter fixed them after the final battle, but there was no plot hole there. As for the sticking powers working through his shoes, I noticed that every time Peter had his shoes in the ceiling or the wall, he was also holding on with his fingers, so that means that his powers were not working through his shoes after all.
