To start off with an image: What are y'all doing for the holidays? It hardly seems like Christmas to me, what with the lack of snow and not being a kid anymore. That's not gonna stop me from trying to reconnect with family and friends though.

I'm going to do what every red-blooded Jew does on Christmas Eve:
Take public transportation down to the mall and just laugh as everyone rushes to get last-minute shopping done.

I'm also going to spend time with my family, of course. Tomorrow I'll go have the traditional Christmas dinner at my grandparents' place, and then I'll go to church with my mother.
And us Finns open our presents on 24th instead of 25th, so that's nice too.
Next week I'll spend time with Comnurmi. He finally bought himself a Nintendo DS yesterday, so next week he's going to buy Pokémon White and then we'll play it together.

A Festivus for the rest of us.
I agree with you about it not feeling like Christmas. The warm weather has been very odd. Especially since it was snowing pretty much in October. Along with being somewhat busy and not anticipating christmas all month, it was kind of like, tomorrow's christmas!
I'll be visiting random family members throughout the holidays. but forget that stuff, let's move on to the important stuff. What's everybody getting, or hoping to get, today/ tomorrow?
I'm pretty excited about getting a kindle Fire and some new juggling equipment, all my current stuff is starting to wear.

Christmas was amazing as always. My entire mom's side came over and we had a blast. First, when everyone was here, we all ate. Dessert was next, and then the ornament exchange. After that we all had my mom's family-famous Christmas punch. The last thing we ended up doing was opening presents at midnight. I assume we can post what loot we got in this thread as well, so here goes: -$50 to spend on whatever crap I want -The 4th, 5th, and 6th books in the Artemis Fowl series - And Another Thing... by Eoin Colfer -A guitar from my brother. But not just any guitar, this guitar used to belong to my grandpa! -Some movies like Despicable Me -'The Logo Board Game' which I had never played until this morning at 1AM -Shirts upon more shirts -And the big one, an iPod Nano, a $15 iTunes gift card, an iPod Nano holder, earbuds, and an external harddrive that has all(about 70G ) of my brother's music on it.

I received volumes 30 and 31 of Negima, volume 4 of Shakugan no Shana, and volume 10 of Fairy Tail. a bunch of art supplies, a drawing stand (which is nice, I was thinking of building one, so it was a nice surprise), and a copy of Digimon World 2. Also my sister loved her portrait.

I had a great time and a great Christmas dinner at my granparents' and the last two nights I spent at my mother's place. Christmas is truly the best time to be with your family.
My loot:
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on DVD - shampoo and stuff - new pyjamas - a mop and a bucket - candy - more candy - a set of fancy glass - another copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas on DVD (from my sister - she didn't know I already had that movie)
