I have a job now and i totally forgot all about this place until someone from kong randomly linked the comic into the chat. This time I'll try not to be such a troll especially since i matured quite a bit since 2009.

All right then, welcome back, I guess. You may not be dead, but it's too bad that this place seems to be quite dead. We're lucky to have anyone at all come back, yet alone make a new thread (even though we have an inactivity thread for announcements like these).

The forum isn't completely dead, I mean people still post a bit about mlp... and yeah that's pretty much it besides minecraft. So dead is a bit of an exaggeration, more like... we're on life support

That's just because half the posts don't revolve around a certain someone nowadays.

I think he was talking about Panda. This forum isn't even close to dead. At least two threads in almost every section have been posted in last week. You call that not even close to dead? People log in, but nobody posts anymore. I knew that closing the Happy/Hate threads was a mistake.

I was talking about Panda. I suppose it could mean mjc depending on how you interpret it, though only daveshn and I ever exchanged words with him and everybody else hears about him through second-hand contact.
Anyway, no offence meant, missingno. I remember when I got my first job, Cleaning kennels, which sucked. Then it was Tex-Mex fast food (Taco Bell and Taco Bueno). They sucked. Now I work at the country club and if you get the rich people drunk enough, they start tipping well.
Moral of story - work where you'll enjoy it. Rich people being regulars is an added bonus.

I'm unemployed but may get into a good employment program as early as Wednesday. I want to become a teacher but to get by before that happens I'd like to have a simple, helpful and effective job. Some programs the program offers are for forklift training, workplace chemical safety and food service... So there are options.

This forum isn't even close to dead. At least two threads in almost every section have been posted in last week. You call that not even close to dead? People log in, but nobody posts anymore. I knew that closing the Happy/Hate threads was a mistake. 1. We aren't Serebii. 2. People were getting back from New Years break and having fun with the gadgets and gizmos they got for the holidays. 3. Threads like those are always bad for a forum and never should have been open in the first place. It may slow things down for a while, but always better sooner than later. I'm unemployed but may get into a good employment program as early as Wednesday. I want to become a teacher but to get by before that happens I'd like to have a simple, helpful and effective job. Some programs the program offers are for forklift training, workplace chemical safety and food service... So there are options. How about substitute teaching? I don't know what the requirements are where you live, but in the States it's usually easy to start.

Substitute teaching takes the same amount of certification in Canada as full-time teaching does, so, yeah, I'll need to work very hard to achieve what I want of a teaching job. Thankfully I'm motivated.
