If anything i feel we could discuss our future job plans and what we are doing at the moment.
Me well right now i work in a little franchise store called "Game Traders" We deal in Games and Anime, as well as game plush and other gaming apparel.
My future plans are to get my medical degree, and get in to Psychology and the like, more than likely I'll start with child Psychiatry and use gaming as a way for children to reach out for help.

I'm not working anywhere at the moment, all I have is that I am potentially volunteering at a summer camp i used to go to. If I get in I get to stay up in the Muskokas for about four weeks, fantastic food, very nice lake and I'll probably see a lot of old friends there. Understandably though it's a bit difficult to get in.
For future plans I was also hoping to get involved in psychology or potentially go to culinary school as both interest me.

My current plan is going to college for graphic design. I am really unsure if it is what i want to do though, I do know I want to be involved with computers and art though.
My current job status is nothing -.- I have color guard and chess practice, which along with school tends to leave little time to work. The lack of a car (or license) doesn't help much either. Yeah I need to get on this job thing.
And Chicken you cook?! gimme some foodz, mail it or something

If you happen to live in North Carolina or near Burbank, California I'm pretty sure Insomniac is hiring game testers.

Game testing is supposed to be horrible. Playing games five/six days a week and getting paid for it sounds good on paper but you can burn out really, really easily unless you have OCD or just love repetition. The job doesn't pay much, doesn't offer any advancement and you won't be thanked for it. It's also all contract work. If you're lucky enough to actually get a job in QA you won't be in it for long. Contracts are done on a game by game basis. As soon as your contract is up, you're out. Simple as.

Got a meeting today for a training gig that pays minimum wage, then gives the person who completes it a certificate based on the type of training. I'll likely go for household chemical safety.

You do know psychology and psychiatry are two different things, right? I'm training to be a professional MMA fighter. Back up plans include: writing, inventing, and, lastly, teaching.

Psychologist = Social Scientist
Psychiatrist = Therapists, Shrinks, etc.
Quite a big difference.
Anyway, I'm hoping to follow my brother's footsteps and get a job at the local Wallgreens. One of the better places to work in retail, I hear.
And I'm most likely going to major in programming. I'm already working on a text-based game in Java.

Retail is the best worst job out there. On one hand, it's simple, relatively easy work and it's easy to get into. The customers can be a hassle though. You'll always get the plain ignorant ones that expect you to lick their shoes no matter where you go. But hey, it's a part of the job. Just grit your teeth and bare it.
I'm doing a basic course in Game Design right now. It's pretty cool. I love learning about how games are put together and what you have to do to make them. I don't know if I'll continue on with it though. I have to make my decision soon.

A friend of mine brought up that I could go into electricity, as a switchboard operator, or wiring technician, or a higher-up job. It sounds like a good career choice, because many things run on electricity, so currents have to have people to maintain them. Also, I may be able to get a government grant for an electricity program and possibly get a career in engineering. As of now I have to say my ideal future work day would be to teach in an Islamic school in the daytime, work as an electrical engineer in the evening and take Islamic lessons whenever I can. Also, if I fulfill one of my dreams - the moving to Lebanon one - electrician would be a handy trade in a nation where war-caused power outages could be common. The person never knows when they'll need an acquired skill to get them and those they care about out of a tough situation. Currently for work I'm not doing paid stuff, but I am volunteering at my Islamic centre and taking frequent lessons. I got lots of notes already and combining those with constant babysitting and supervision duties at the centre, I feel I'm building up a in-school-environment foundation before I get the money to accelerate my career ambitions.
