Unless they use pokemon that have high special defense, know reflect, and have a good water move and a decently strong physical attack.

Another reason not to have Brendan catch Kyogre is that it is more of his luck to catch a feebas.

Having a lvl 70 dragon type pokémon Yeah... And like I said. What power? Dragon Pokémon are the ultimate in useless battlers.

Dragons are good if they know the right moves.

No they aren't. They are only super effective against themselves (lame), don't get the 1.5x same type bonus with other types of moves (super lame), and they are all almost 4x weak to ice type attacks due to them usually being a flying type as well (extremely lame). The only exceptions are Dratini, Dragonaire, Bagon, and... whatever the frick Bagon's 1st evolution is called, which are only Dragon types but don't have high enough SP Defense to survive an ice attack anyway, Latias and Latios that are part Psychic instead of part Flying, but they are still taken down easily by ice, and Kingdra, the only Dragon type that has a chance of surviving an ice attack... Only to go down on the second turn.
... And Flygon, but it's part Ground, which is also weak to ice, so it's still 4x weak like all the Dragon/Flying types.

w00t ice ;D But seriously. All pokemon have their weaknesses, even the supreme mights of the waters. With the right training and moves, even Flygon can become an immovable wall Especially that flygon

No, it can't.
Hey look, it's Flygon! Flygon, meet [insert name of any pokemon faster than Flygon that can learn an ice attack and has high SP Attack here]. [name of pokemon] is faster than you. It's going to open the battle with its ice attack. Oh look at that, Flygon. Your weak butt just fainted. How pitiful.

Such disregard for its full potential. If that is the case, then why not increase the speed or its Sp. Defense? Perhaps toss it a Mirror Coat or something that blocks Sp. Attack? An adequate trainer would know how to eliminate the advantages of his enemies, mj

The ability to use dragons requires team work mjc. There's this move called light screen that cuts special attack power. Have a pokemon use it before you send out your dragon and said dragon will be safe.

Said dragon will just take 2 Ice Beams to go down instead of 1. Not enough time for said dragon to do anything useful.

Ok here is another idea: don't send a dragon against a pokemon that knows Ice Beam or any other strong ice type attacks.

Hey I just use Blazikin against the ice and use dragons for everything else. Raquizia is two fast not to kill a ice pokemon though.

Ok here is another idea: don't send a dragon against a pokemon that knows Ice Beam or any other strong ice type attacks. Unless you have a Ditto, you won't know what attacks your opponent has until they use them. So you can't hide your weak dragons from the ice. And there are many Pokémon that are faster than Rayquaza that can use ice attacks.

True mjc you don't know for sure unless you have a ditto. However, I can bet my bottom dollar that 90-100% of fire, ghost, rock, normal, grass, bug, steel, ground, electric, poison, dark, and flying pokemon (that are also any of the types listed) don't know any ice attacks.
NOTE: exclude those pokemon that are dual type that the second type is water, ice, fighting, psychic, or dragon.
