There's one more thing you missed, mjc. That is, why Recon lets us flame out annoying spammers.

You see, unlike many other forum admins, Recon does not beat off to the thought of having lots of posters on his forum. Instead, he cares about the quality of the posts and likes to look at his forum and say something like, "People who come to my forum have useful things to say. Whether it is informative or humorous, it is useful."

Recon doesn't care how many people post. He cares about what they post.
