Yo, i'm the middle man.
i usually go by the name of MDL on forums, but i'm fleshing it out for once.
Middle ends up being a frequent pet name for me anyways, due to the lettering of MDL.
it actually stands for monkeydluffy, my first ever forum username.
it was on a one piece forum in MSN groups.
so because of my fond memories there, i've always used MDL.
it's like a neverending tribute to my first "home" on the internet.
anyways, i like to read manga, doodle, sing to myself when no one's around, play video games, etc.
all the loner-type junk.
i have aspergers syndrome, and some of my faults have lost me a handful of e-friends in recent years.
so if i seem overly friendly (verging on creepy), if i seem mad, if i respond seriously to sarcasm, or if i get upset over small stuff...
please know that i'm not aware of it. i usually realise my mistakes only after the dust has settled.
i'm a lot better than i used to be, but one bad spell in march on another forum caused me to lose a large chunk of friends over the course of this year...
just thought i'd give you guys a fair heads up, because i genuinely want to get along with you all.
in other news, i've been a pokemon nut since i was a little boy.
i've played most of the games, i used to have thousands of cards, and i still have a shoebox full of pokemon figurines.
and i'm currently on a break from my "pokemon marathon challenge".
basically, i took it upon myself to start from the very first episode of the anime, and watch every single episode until i reach the newest ones.
i blitzed my way through season one and the orange islands, then plodded through johto, and now i've lost a bit of momentum as we enter hoenn.
i WILL eventually complete my run though, count on it.
most importantly of all, i love this comic a whole lot.
it entertains and makes me smile. please keep up the good work.

Well, basically imagine the most stereotypical Asian you can think of. I'm talking like Mr. Miyagi Asian, parents who yell "Y U NO GET A? YOU A-SIAN, NOT B-SIAN!!!", talks with a funny accent, takes like 50 different Martial arts, can beat yo butt any day, is awesome at math, and chinky eyes.
That's not me whatsoever. I am, however, Asian.

So...I'm the first to post here since 2012 but here I go. My name's Andrew, I'm almost 23 and I live in Poland. I've been fan of the comic since 2011 or 2012 and I've also been lurking the forum since that time. In my free time I watch anime, play minecraft and listen to music (my favourites: The Cure, RHCP, Yes, Pink Floyd). In my 'busy' time I study politics. My favourite pokemon game is Soul Silver because I absolutely love Johto and the storyline of GSC/HGSS  Recon, if you're reading this, I love your ideas, characters and type of humor. I never gave up on the comic and I eagerly wait for new adventures. It's probably the only webcomic that really got me addicted and wanting more. So thank you and good luck with new updates!  |

I'd like to take a moment to reintroduce myself, it's been several years since I was last on this forum, and even then I haven't been especially active for even longer.
So what has been going on in my life all this time? Well first off...
I used to go by Rick Xeros, and I am/was one of the mods here. The past few years have been a serious struggle between my family going through various troubles, mostly money problems that we are still going through. Currently Recon and I are rooming together with a third friend, this is kind of the first time I've lived away from home for long term. But the main struggle has been one of identity... Namely coming to terms with myself... You see... I'm transgender, I identify as female despite being born male.
In the past couple years especially I've been coming out to friends and family and starting my transition. Recon has been a really supportive friend to me and watched my back through these hard times. These days I have taken the name Emily, I have an amazing girlfriend who loves me despite my being born male and my personal life is mostly a happy one despite my issues and money problems. I'll try to be more active in the community but in the mean time it's nice to meet you all again!

Hello everyone! You all can call me Sylveon (it's my favorite Pokemon). I have been following this comic since around 2005, I believe. I was a naive kid that didn't really understand the adult jokes and just was in love with Rocky and how mysterious he was as a character. Now I always name Poochyena I catch after him. I now look back at the comics and laugh at all the jokes I missed. I'm now a 21 year old girl that ended up following Recon on Facebook, that's how I found out that he was going to start updating the comics again. I'm planning on majoring in children psychology. I like all things pink, bows, Pokemon, anime, and debating about certain topics. Oh, and I also like other cartoons like My little Pony and Steven Universe. My favorite Pokemon games are R/S/E and I LOVE how the remakes reminded me so much about all the good times I have had playing that game, I really almost started crying. In my spare time I like to take care of my chameleon and my guinea pigs, play Pokemon, watch youtube videos, and play tennis. I'm looking forward to getting to know ALL of you. I've never been a part of a Pokemon community before and since this is based around my favorite gen, this is going to be a blast! |

Hello! You can call me Tech, Tron, Tech Tron, something like that. I first came across the comic ages ago, but have sporadically gotten through it. I once again got back into around the anniversary of the original Red & Green games. Figured it was finally time for me to get on the forum here.
I'm a web developer and aspiring software and game developer. I have been a fan of comics forever and naturally loved this as a fan of Pokemon too. The idea of using a game to produce a web comic was great. Think i'm getting some ideas lol.

For the past year, I've tried to get an account to post on this (*&^%$ing board. Score!
The name's Mach - I've read Pokemon X for so long I forget when I started. It was the golden age of sprite comics and I consumed Bob+George and its offshoots, but I kept a special little place in my heart for this wonderful comic. Loved each and every turn of this story - the gameplay audio on the pages, etc.
I return now to pay respects for the work and effort put into this story, as well as the fantastic entertainment value this strip has. I am sad I wasn't able to pop into this forum in its heyday, but better late than never! I salute Recon for the work done and I'm always popping in to see if there are any updates. Of course, life trumps all, so just hearing from the trainer-in-chief is a plus ;]
