Of course not. If you got the National dex from the start then you wouldn't have to go on as many meaningless quests.

Yes you would.
*as an example, hits new game and uses a gameshark code to have the National Dex from the start, and then plays like normal for a while*
See? Still gotta do all this crap.

Complaining because they won't let you use powerful foreign pokemon from the start of the game instead of working for your own legacy in the seperate cartridge first? There are worse things about the game that you can complain about, mj, than balance

Game Shark is your friend though. Plus it's either use Game shark or buy R/S/E/FR/LG and Colosseum to fill pokedex.

It came down to spending $60 dollars and playing through Ruby and Fire Red just to catch a couple exclusive Pokémon, or buy a Gameshark and just use that to quickly catch said exclusive Pokémon. Obviously, the Gameshark is the better way to go. And VMag, what part of "I didn't feel like training a new team because Nintendo makes you beat the Elite Four before letting you into the Battle Frontier" didn't you understand? And, it's mjc. Stop forgetting the c.

Please don't argue with him. You know he is right and it is pointless.

I guess I have to much time on my hands because I own every single version (except Stadium 2) and caught everyone without a code (still transfering everone to emerald.) Except for Lugia, Deoxys, Jirachi, Celebi, and Ho oh which I got from my friends games. Plus I proudly paid for each version myself. I thought it was pretty easy catching everyone. ;D

Your Lugia, Deoxys, Jirachi, Celebi, and Ho oh should still be considered illegal though, unless your friend got them fair and square.
And... I'm glad that you're proud of how much money you wasted buying sets of games that are 99% the same. Good for you! *rolls eyes*

Better to waste money then be bored, because if you are bored, you go insane.

Is it because you are crazy that you misspelled "know"?

Better to waste money then be bored, because if you are bored, you go insane. You contradicited yourself. If you waste your money on the same game with only a 1% difference, not only will you be bored from playing again to find that 1% difference, but you will be bored when new games come out and you find yourself with no money left to buy them.

In a way, it was easy have each version. One I use for the Pokedex and the other I use to train all the pokemon. It was got me at least 65% of my evolved pokemon. plus It gets easy when you are able to memorize the maps and opponents pokemon to train certain pokemon. ;D I say it was worth every penny.
