I'm not trying to get in the middle of this, but, nothing he said was exclusively net battle. Not true:
"Netabttle" games are NOT Pokémon battles, so get the frick out of my thread. Or, for every net battle post you put in one of my threads, I will put one post of spam in your latest fanfic topic. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a spam for a spam. Mother fucker.

And so can I. Like I said: An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a spam for a spam.
Not to mention that we already have TWO "netabttle" topics and banov still tries to turn every topic other than his fanfic onto a "netabttle" discussion. I'm farking sick of that, too.

My mistake I thought you were referring to this post since you didn't quote anything. yeah, baton pass teams are hard to counter if you don't expect them. 3 common BP starters to help you: 1) Smeargle - For the quick Spore/Ingrain/BP 2) Ninjask - In hopes that they'll let you pass, thinkign that this will pass to some easily-countered sweeper 3) Umbreon - The easiest to spot since umbreon is rarely a lead-off pokemon. This is generally used to start off a trickband combo.

Those are just stupid ideas anyway. Ninjask is so weak that it would only take one good attack to knock it out and end the combo, so what kind of idiot would not attack it? Plus, this is the annoying battle situations topic. This is not for discussing how to get around those situations. I clearly stated that this is just a rant topic to blow off steam about battles that pissed you off, such as the damn Critical Hit thing.
So banov, either stay on topic, or get out. Don't think I won't uphold my "spam for a spam" policy.

People use protect the first turn to give ninjask its first speed boost, then they use substitute.

That damned chansey in Fire Red is a hard pokemon to beat and frankly I only battle that person for the unholy amount of money and experience one can get from battling that person. You'd think it would be an easy kill but noooo. It has softboiled and rest. I've had to go into struggle matches to beat it, STRUGGLE, for the love of god. It is worth it though when your pokemon has either a lucky egg or an amulet coin. Ironically the first chansey I caught in Fire Red was holding a lucky egg.
This may not technically be a battle situation but I hate it when my friends are all like, hey man can I borrow your lucky egg and I'm like "I just lent it to you last week and you still haven't picked up your charizard from me. It's been in humping that ditto so long that I have a box full of eggs. I'm taking it out for the love of god." Then he's like "I'll bring my link cable tomorrow so just leave my charizard in there to mooch experience from you. I'll give you an extra nugget or something." But, then you know what happens? He does not bring it so I'm left there with his charizard and about 50 eggs that I have no idea what to do with.
My point, thanks to him I've had to lower my rates on charmander eggs just to get rid of them. Yes I do actually charge people to breed their starters for them because their day cares are full. I even sell people starter pokemon that they don't have. My going rate for most starter eggs is a Nugget or some rare Berries, or even certain quantities of berry powder. In conclusion don't abandon your pokemon with me it's bad for business!

So they don't have gameshark?
Also when you use lucky egg your guys don't level up as well they level up quicker and don't get as many EV's. Use Macho Brace if you want better leveling ups.

Don't think I won't uphold my "spam for a spam" policy. The magic move called substitute, mjc. Since ninjask is really fast it gets off a quick substitute, and can keep doing that for 4 staright turns as long as it is equipped with leftovers. After that it will have +4 speed, making it the perfect time to switch to some pokemon that could greatly benefit from a speed boost, like, say, rhydon or armaldo or something. For an even greater bonus, you can alternate it with protects so that by the end you'll be maxed out at +6.

Trying to catch a legendary pokemon. That is just a pain in the butt that you need at least 15 minutes to do (more if said legendary knows recover).

Congratulations, daveshn. You posted something this topic was meant for. *gives you a free t-shirt that says "I'm smarter than Banov"*
It really sucks for Snorlax in Red/Blue/Yellow/FR/LG too... He's not exactly legendary, but the first time you fight one, you only have Great Balls. He breaks out of those easily, and if you give him a status problem and weaken him, the SOB just uses Rest and cures it all. Pisses me right the hell off.
