As far as I know this is the first (but not only) game that features crossover game characters from the Mario and Sonic games. Of course, I was pleasently amazed, since I didn't know much about SSB: Brawl yet. However, shortly after its release a few friends said the idea was cool, but it probably just seemed better in the game developers' heads because the gameplay was only so-so.
Since I'm poor, and I wouldn't want to spend $50 or more on crap, I was hoping that those who have actually played it please post your opinions. Thanks.

If you want to know if a game is good or bad, look up reviews. There are always several made by different professional reviewers on various websites. Google it.
(I haven't played)

There are always several made by different professional reviewers on various websites indeed, but sometimes they are very harsh at rating, so I wouldn't know what exactly to believe. Some "professional" absolutely loved ECKS VS SEVER. Yeah... it's not that great, so that's why I turn to the common population and ask.
