Not all forums have something like a spam lounge. There are forums much stricter than this one that would probably ban someone for trying to make a spam lounge.

well its and intresting place were people can hang out. Actualy theres no proof it brings the worst of people. Anyway all forums have something like this. Assumption. We only have one to hang out. And like I said, make regulations on what can and cannot be acceptable in the Spam Lounge. You don't have to, but usually, USUALLY, we are under the consensus that we should have at least two chances, consisting of an initial warning and a spoken chance like: "Screw it up next time and it stays locked". If the forum members can promise change and represent the Spam Lounge as it was intended for, there's no reason to perma-lock it.

Open the Spam Lounge. It was the place where we actually had a place to post out-of-topic ideas without having to worry to get out of topic.

The spam lounge is open, but in no way is it permanent.
In the past few days I've determined that, as whole, most of the members are actually good about not spamming.
The excess spam on this forum is the result of a select one or two select users who are carelessly posting, and not thinking at all. They fill the forum with pointless questions, off topic irrelevant nonsense, and plain stupidity. I'm not going to say who these users are, but I don't really have to, do I? These people really need to stop posting in such a way.
In making a post ANYWHERE consider the following: -Do you have ANYTHING to actually contribute to the conversation. If not, don't post. -When asking a question, THINK for a second. You might be able to figure it out on your own. Read the previous posts a few times. Don't just ask, "What?" -Do not repeat the same message or question over and over and over. There is probably a reason why people are ignoring it. -If a topic is dying. THEN JUST LET IT DIE. Seriously, it's unnatural for me to have to lock a whole bunch of topics just because people won't let the topic die. This is one of the things that irritates me the most. Topics like Favorite Pokemon, Favorite Type of Pokemon, and Nicknames SHOULDN'T HAVE THAT MANY POSTS IN THEM. There is something wrong there and I bet if I dug through it, I'd see that the majority of the posts are spam. -The bottom line is, just THINK before posting. You don't have to post in every damn topic. Nor do you have to respond to every single post on the forum. Only post when you actually have something to say.
Regarding the Spam Lounge itself. -No more posts that involve just holding down a key or repeating the same words/sentences/phrases over and over.
