I meant the influenza pandemic, but yeah. The only thing that makes H1N1 worse than the regular flu is that it has the potential to spread slightly faster because of the lack of vaccines. All things considered, whether H1N1 is scientifically classified as more dangerous or not isn't the matter - the fact that the regular flu could do such harm is reason for people to worry. This goes for the bird flu.

Well if you think about it tribes from south america were wiped out because of the flu. They had no immunity.
Its only when the flu gets to the lungs when it gets dangerous. It can trigger pneumonia and other lung diseases.

I was supposed to get my shot today, but the doctor I visited this morning told me to postpone it to the next Tuesday, because he gave me medication for this week that doesn't go well with injections.
I'm quite relieved. I hate needles, I hate them!
