Simpsons has grown stale and is starting to use vulgarity as comedy, which isn't true Simpsons style.
The new Family Guy movie Something Something Something Dark Side is a great buy! Highly recommend it.
Also, the four Futurama movies are epic! Can't wait until it comes back on the air!

Of course, we ll know Futurama is much better than Family Guy anyway. oh lawl One of the turn-offs from Family Guy is the crudeness of their jokes, like with 9/11. I don't roll with that. Now, it's not to say it isn't funny because the episode where Brian and Stewie go to different universes was actually decent, but my opinion stands that Futurama hasn't sunk so much that they resort to mundane humour. "Oh hey, 9/11 can be funny if we say it was a WOMAN pilot!" "I know! Let's make over-exaggerations of scenes of everyday tasks because the randomness and longevity of that scene makes it FUNNAY!" "Bathroom humour attracts a lot of laughs!" But I will qualify that as an opinion as to why Futurama is better. Notice how the storylines of Futurama, especially the first movie, were well-constructed for a cartoon - where you actually had to reason out the series of events as everything (mostly) fell together at the end. This expresses the intelligence of the series as a whole, despite their share of bathroom jokes at times. They don't abuse it, and Futurama focuses on consistent character development. tl;dr - Futurama is the best.

The new season partially deals with *SPOILER IF YOU DIDN'T SEE THE 4th MOVIE* Fry and Leelas relationship, now that they're finally together and all.
I had to watch the first movie twice before fully understanding everything.
The 1st movie was the best, then the 4th, then the 3rd, and then the 2nd. The second was good, but compared to the others it was terrible.

Yeah, and I'm not saying they don't, rather, that it's either not as apparent or prevalent. I'm also talking in terms of the current situation. They MAY, but they haven't been as notorious about it. If and when that time comes, I can retract or revise my opinion matter on it.

Wait... 1. Bender's Big Score 2. The Beast with a Thousand Backs 3. Bender's Game 4. Which one is this? Over the Green Yonder. With large golf courses and biological concerns.

Fix'd and I would like to add: @chaoman, I dont recall Family Guy ever make the "Woman Piolet on 9/11" joke. Only one 9/11 joke I can recall is when Peter said he was James Woods and said his next movie was September 11th, Twothousand Fun. With David Spade.

Chaoman, I dont recall Family Guy ever make the "Woman Piolet on 9/11" joke. Only one 9/11 joke I can recall is when Peter said he was James Woods and said his next movie was September 11th, Twothousand Fun. With David Spade. I think it was when Peter wanted to become a lot more patriotic and said to Brian "9/11 changed EVERYTHING, Brian. 9/11 changed everything." And Brian responds by saying "Peter, you didn't even know what 9/11 was until 2004" and it does a flashback to 9/11/2001 when Peter made that comment. I paraphrased and it might not have been shown on public access channels, but it was on Adult Swim. In fact: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zeJkG6IBGgIf there was more than one, then it's even worse than I thought.

Oh yea. I put it like this: It's just showing Peter is. He's just above the line for retardation, so of course he's going to say something stupid.
Can we all agree that the Star Wars specials are funny.

Comedy now is all about pushing barriers. For example: Earlier this month there was a huge scandal involving the Dublic Catholic diocese, I was watching TV two nights after the report on it was published and there was a comedy show making jokes about it. Yes it was funny (IMO) yes there were people annoyed at it but you have to remember, Its a joke. You dont take it seriously.

Just glad that Frank Welker is back as Nibbler. I was surprised that Nibbler was voiced by Megatron
