Yeah, Easter is nothing more than a Chocolate-Eating-Day to most people anymore.
Luckily some people like my mother still remember why we celebrate Easter. My mother's very religious.

I went to Easter vigil last night, and it might have been 2 hourse of sitting, standing, and kneeling, but it was still awesome because we lit up the whole church with candles instead of lights, and I almost set my brother on fire

Do you think it's right that people that don't believe in Jesus celebrate Easter? I mean, let's be honest, they only want it for the chocolate. :\

Everybody loves to celebrate and have fun, so what's wrong with doing as the Romans and having fun with your neighbors of other traditions?

In that case, then we should all stop celebrating St. Paddy's, Mardi Gras, Cinco de Mayo, Oktoberfest, etc. etc. etc. unless we were of the proper traditions. And I don't think any of us would want that Worry not, and just be glad others are enjoying it along with you. Even if they don't firmly believe in it - and I doubt any of us really has room to talk, seeing as nobody's strictly followed Leviticus in centuries - at least they're having a good time and keeping the event freshly remembered.

I mean, let's be honest, they only want it for the chocolate. :\ Religious aspects shouldn't be taken to seriously if anything, I mean look how it is portrayed... A bunny comes and leaves you a basket of goodies! Cause that has sooooo much to do with Hesus... (yes I know what easter is supposed to celebrate I'm just pointing out the obvious non-religious aspects ) I think its just as right as non-religious people celebrating Halloween, Christmas, Hanuka or any other holiday with religious connotations its like sharing in someone else's culture! Granted its a christian holiday so it is mainstream as hell... but still! Anyways! Happy Easter all! I'm going to go celebrate it with bunny girls! ;D er.... I mean uh... chocolate eggs? *sneaks off with bunny girls*

I don't even celebrate Easter, unless you count being forcefully dragged to my aunt's house for dinner. We stopped doing egg hunts and whatnot when I was like 7. But, to those who do, enjoy!

In other news I think Easter has lost it's meaning What do you guys think? That's true of several holidays. Of course, it also has to do with Easter being more of a kid-friendly holiday too. Nonetheless, have a good Easter.
