Er, this comic has barely started, so I think it's too early to complain about things like that. Besides, do you see anyone near her she could talk to?
I never read Digimon Legend, but I think I'll start following this comic. The art is quite good and I'm sure I'll like the characters as well.

He could have her read a note from her mom saying she be late and crumble it up while saying "Yeah, yeah, same old. Same old."

Looks like you got what you wanted, Dave.
Hmm, a mysterious invisible fire thing... Spooky.

Always good to know when an author understands constructive criticism.
Ok, I'm really curious about the floating fire ball. Does she not see it? Why isn't there any smoke or sudden heat that she could smell or feel? You've intrigued me, Rick. Continue.

The fire ball is obviously in a different dimension. It can see her, but she can't see or sense it.
Right?

Fireball spirit? OK then.

The simplistic style is really nice, and it's a good start. Keep it up!

Who tries to make friends with the first person they see on the first day at a new school? I know I wouldn't.

Gotta agree with SJ. Also, I prefer the black and white style for the most part. A colored comic here or there is nice though. Also, cat-girl festival..... please make that cannon.

You know, going off that feedback I think I'm going to do the comic in black and white for now, I want it to be in color but that's purely a personal preference thing so I think the colors can be held off while I try to get caught back up and added later, all for dropping a step to make it easier I'll add some grays here and there for indication of colors and stuff though just cause~

Personally I like colored comics, but black and white is also fine, I guess... Although I hate not knowing the characters' hair colors in black and white comics. I don't know why, but it just irritates me.

If you're doing it in black and white, shading is important.
