Lol, I got that right at panel 4, but it was still funny. Oh, Brendan. You truly make this comic great.

I admire the lucario. Fat chicks need love too. I agree. Unfortunately I had to get a Riolu in the game, so I had to make Luke cheat on Emilee with a Ditto once... But he really loves Emilee with all his heart. I'm not going to accuse. I had my snorlax commit multi-generational, incestuous, pedophilia in order to get an adamant charmander with good IV's, belly drum, and EQ.

I agree with you on everything you said. There will be a Dark-type Gym with Zoroark, and there will be many hot Gym Leader women. There's one thing I've been wondering for some time... Why are almost all Gym Leaders so young? Seriously, most of them are teenagers or young adults. Did something happen before the player characters started their journeys? A brutal massacre of old Gym Leaders perhaps, by some crazy trainer who couldn't beat the skilled veterans in battle? SJ, think about it: Young people = young pokemon. Professional athletes in our world aren't old, they're young. Soldiers aren't old, generals are, but soldiers aren't. Many of the most famous celebrities aren't old, they're young.

Dave: The regions have been separated since Gen 3. Only this time the separation is larger than just staying in one nation. It's not the same thing. This time, they're separating them so much that they're starting over at Route 1. This suggests that they're changing a lot of things.

You know, I actually like this big separation between Isshu and other reigons. It lets Pokemon get a fresh slate while still offering a well-established, four-plus region world. Great for fan fiction, definitely. Now I do not have to worry about adding Isshu and its Pokemon to my story. It is nice to know that pre-Generation V Pokemon can still be obtained in some manner. 493 Pokemon cannot just be let go to waste in this new generation. I don't know. Separating the regions just seems like a gimmick to me. I don't see the advantage to it, but I do like that they're moving away from the 'Team' motif. Having a lone warrior who's out to change everything on his own is a real fresh start.

Oh no! A biker! The most vicious of elite pokemon battlers! Crimson has to start somewhere. He will probably move on from bikers to mid-range terrorists to criminal masterminds in time. And, somewhere between all the carnage, destruction, and death, he'll learn that shorts are comfy and easy to wear.

Well, I don't like the use of game sprites, but, other than that, it's pretty good. Though, I have to disagree with VF, May look-alike has a better chance.
Rhydon's best weapon against Aggron is EQ, but that will damage every other pokemon on the field, effectively dividing the damage by 3 for each. Making the damage to Aggron 4/3, something that the steel monster could survive with its massive defense. Not only that, it would only hit Shiftry for 1/6 damage, while Venusaur would receive a neutral 1/3 due to its poison and grass typing.
Meanwhile, Aggron could easily Iron tail, doing 200% damage. True, Rhydon could use brick break (I doubt it could pull of focus punch), but an un-STAB'd 75 base power move against Aggron's defense won't be enough.
Between Venusaur and Shiftry, Shifty has access to psychic an flying attacks, as well as stat-boosting moves. True, Venusaur has sludge bomb, but I don't think it could OHKO Shiftry, giving it time to power itself up.
That's my take.
