I'm thrilled that Swampert got a Mega Evolution, obviously, and I'm glad that we're finally getting those long-awaited Hoenn remakes. I don't really care if they're remakes or sequels, I just can't wait to play them. The player characters look pretty awesome and so do the Team leaders, but... What the hell happened to Tabitha? He really let himself go over the last decade, poor bastard.

Wow. These are so good. I could tell that some of them were referencing the Pokédex and that just made me love them more. A lot of the crazy things in the Pokédex are never seen in the anime, so it's nice to see that stuff used in fan art. Day 1: I love the Karrablast admirers. Just like kids look up to their various role models, it only makes sense that Pokémon would look up to their evolved forms. Day 2: The Big Boss Pokémon. I've always been a little disappointed that we have never seen any wild Honchkrow in the anime that would've had an army of Murkrow in their command. Honchkrow are such cool Pokémon. Day 3: Nice battle picture, you're very good at making those. I'm sure Haxorus ended up the victor, it was its day after all. Day 4: Haha, what? Gay Pokémon? Sure, why not. Jolteon looks like he's not enjoying the relationship one bit, though. Day 5: Sparkly. Day 6: Don't you like Pancham, or did you decide to draw one defeated just because it evolves into a Fighting/Dark-type like Scrafty and you prefer Scrafty? Day 7: Pokédex references FTW. Day 8: I wonder what Braviary is going to do with that car. Day 9: I see a Medicham, a Chingling, a Clefairy, a Golbat and... a Fennekin? I dunno. Day 10: Another nice Pokédex reference. I've always liked Breloom, even in my Ruby game before Poison Heal and Technician were options for it. Day 11: I kinda wish there'd be more crazy stuff buried in the ground in this picture. It always makes for good comedy. Day 12: Behold, mortal, your lord and savior Articuno hath arrived! Day 13: I love the expressions on that Zigzagoon's face. Day 14: Welp, you're dead, Solosis. (I wonder if it tastes like a jelly baby?) Day 15: What a magnificent scenery. I feel like I've seen this somewhere before... Day 16: Cute. One day you'll fly... Unless you die before you evolve, and even if you get restored from a Fossil, some douchebag might still not evolve you and shove you inside a Box forever and ever. But keep dreaming! Day 17: Heh. They're birds, therefore they sing. Not very well, but still. Day 18: I like this one a lot. I still remember how much I loved that Beach Blank-Out Blastoise episode in the Original Series. Day 19: That looks comfortable. I wish summer would come already. Day 20: Of course your favorite electric rodent is Pikachu. I don't know many people who like Plusle/Minun/Pachirisu/Emolga/Dedenne over the original lightning in a bottle. Day 21: Day 22: Mega Kangaskhan is one of the few Mega Pokémon I still haven't trained in Y, but I have plans of training one soon. It must be insanely powerful, since it got banned and all. Day 23: Ah, Delibird. Everyone's favorite Christmas-time Pokémon and one of the biggest jokes ever. Seriously, your Hidden Ability is Insomnia? Wasn't Vital Spirit enough for you? Don't you ever sleep?! Day 24: This one is awesome. I love, love, love this picture. Where do you come up with this stuff? Day 27: Shut up, Zekrom. Kyurem came to Earth on a comet, it eats people and it's basically your and Reshiram's mangled corpse. It can't get any cooler than that. Day 31: I rarely picked Bulbasaur myself, but that doesn't mean I liked it any less than the other two original starters. Just look at it, it's so cute. Okay, so, I hate to ask this again, but have you made any progress with my old request? I know these forums have been VERY inactive for a long time, but one thing I still like to check here somewhat regularly is this art thread. I know you're busy, but whenever you have time to draw something again, I certainly wouldn't mind requesting another pic or two. In fact, you might as well forget about my previous request, it was a pretty dumb one. If you feel like you're up for it, I'll make a new request as soon as I see your reply.

Surely you mean it rocks? Eh? Eh? Touché. (quick rundown of Season 4 that I've gathered entirely from the pony pages I follow on facebook: Twicane, Coco Pommel, woman's nethers worm monster thing, Flutterbat, Flutterhulk, Weird Al, and some other stuff I don't remember) That is all pretty accurate. There's also been Discord, polished hooves, duck faces, Flutterbee, amazing songs, Twilight basically running Hogwarts in her library, Sweetie Belle finally learning to use magic, Applejack kicking all kinds of as s, more Spike-abuse than ever before, the return of Flutterguy, Pinkie's hardcore sister and of course the season-long plotline of the Mane Six collecting keys of their respective Elements to unlock the mysterious chest that came from the Tree of Harmony in the season's opening two-parter. You know, you're really missing a lot if you don't watch the episodes yourself.

I've become a major lurker because there's not much to discuss here, but I'll post whenever I feel like it. Like right now, for example.

Late reply is late, but sure, I'd love to see some of your POKEDDEXY pictures, Dotty.

Sooo... How are you doing, Dotty? Have you decided to give up on this thread? I know the forums are quite dead, but I was really hoping that your art would bring at least some life back to them and for a moment it seemed to be going pretty well.

Well done, Recon. Removing the dates from the comic pages was smart. Now you can update whenever you like/have time and you don't have to worry about catching up anymore. Lung is a pretty cool name, right? No? Is it just me? Okay... Well, unless that Nincada knows any Ground-type attacks, Gulpin shouldn't have too much trouble beating it. Oh, and poor Wally. He keeps telling everyone how awesome his green Pokémon are while remaining ignorant of the fact that three of his Pokémon won't be green anymore after they've evolved. If I could, I'd give him a bag of Everstones for Christmas.

The Looker storyline was absolutely fantastic. I loved it more than anything else in the game. That settles it, Y is definitely my favorite Pokémon game now.

I beat the League last week and now I'm taking my time going through every Kalos Route catching all the Pokémon I missed earlier. It's a lot of fun, but those Quick Balls are damn expensive because I always have to buy so many of them. I'm not getting rich this way, so I may have to take on the League again quite a few times before I have enough cash for all the cool things you can buy in this game. Btw, I found a shiny Seaking when I was fishing.

You already beat the Champion, Dotty? Dude, you are a machine. At least I sleep every now and then. I just beat Team Flare. It was kinda ridiculous that I had to battle their Boss three times in such a short time period, but I'm not complaining. All Exp is good Exp. I absolutely love how the Exp. Share works in this Gen. I also love Super Training, it may take some time but it's friggin' awesome. Punching those Bags to gain EV points instead of buying Vitamins saves me a fu ckload of money. I was a little disappointed in Yveltal, to be honest. My Talonflame only had to use Flare Blitz three times (it used Oblivion Wing to heal itself at one point) and then it was weak enough for me to catch it in a single Dusk Ball. Wow. Then again, it proved itself to be a beast in the last battle against Lysandre. I swept three of his first Pokémon with Yveltal without having to use any other form of recovery than Oblivion Wing and even though it finally lost to Mega Gyarados, it did enough damage for my Delphox to finish it off with a single Flamethrower. I'm telling you, there's NOTHING more satisfying than defeating a Water/Dark-type Mega Pokémon with a Fire/Psychic-type. Seriously, it was beautiful. Here's my current team: Oili the Delphox, level 59 Kari the Talonflame, level 56 Raimo the Gogoat, level 56 Mikko the Pangoro, level 56 Riitta the Barbaracle, level 56 Eeva the Florges, level 56 Again, love the Exp. Share. My opponents all fall down before my overleveled monsters.

What's this? The games have been officially out for a whole day and no one's made a comment about their progress? For shame. I managed to buy my copy of Pokémon Y on Friday and now I have two Badges and I'm about to challenge the third Gym. I also already have a full team. I started with Fennekin which is a Braixen now, and my other team members are Fletchinder, Skiddo, Pancham, Binacle and Floette. I think it's a pretty well-balanced party. So far I've both loved the game AND been disappointed in it a few times. You can probably imagine my reaction when I left the second town and ran into the tall grass, expecting to encounter some awesome new Kalos Pokémon... and then the first Pokémon I encountered was a Pidgey. There were also so many other Gen I-V Pokémon in the beginning that I couldn't believe it. Especially Santalune Forest was basically Viridian Forest 2.0. The same design, the exact same map and mostly the same Pokémon as well, including Pikachu. The game started to pick up after that, though. Even though it's taken me a lot of time to seek out as many Kalos Pokémon as possible on each Route, it's been quite entertaining. The graphics of the game are really pretty and all that jizz. I haven't used Pokémon-Amie or Super Training much yet, but I tried them both out and they were quite cool. The characters of the game are great and I love how every single one of your friends/rivals has a different goal. The rival battles so far haven't been very impressive, though. There haven't been very many of them and every time I won without breaking a sweat. The only one worth mentioning is my recent battle against Serena. She had at least three Pokémon and her first one actually put up a decent fight. Still, I beat her 3-0. I could talk about a lot of other things, but I think I'll wait a little longer. I know the Gyms' types but I still don't know all the Gym Leaders because I want them to be a surprise. I think I'll really join the upcoming game conversations once I've beaten the League. P.S. Believe it or not, but there's a Trainer in the game who makes an "over 9000" joke. Seriously.

Getting a bit sick of Charizard recently. :\ I used to think people were exaggerating when they talked about how zealously over-hyped Charizard is, but it turns out I just hadn't seen that portion of the fanbase. I completely agree. One Mega Evolution for this overrated NU thing wasn't enough, oh no, they were just trolling everyone who wanted it to become a Dragon-type so their hopes and dreams would go crashing down and then they revealed that they actually had made another Mega Form for it that is a Dragon-type! Seriously, why does everyone treat Charizard like a king?! It's only ever been awesome in the anime. Also, important message for everyone: out of consideration for people who don't want to see leaked information, please don't post anything that hasn't been officially revealed. Thank you. I already know too much. Goddamn spoilers. I really feel like they aren't give much love to Y when it comes to the Mega Evolutions. It's like they say, "Here look at this Mega Evolution, not much of a difference except some stats and it's appearance." and then later they are all like, "That was just the Y version, here look at this actually improved version of the Pokemon, but only in X" I also agree with this. Way to undermine your own game, Game Freak. Oh well, I'm still getting Y.

OHMYGODTHATBRONTOSAURUSPOKEMONISADOOOOOOORABLE (never mind that the brontosaurus never actually existed) and its ability is epic. Boosted-strength Ice-type return, anyone? (That'd be like, what, 110-120 power with 100% accuracy?) And probably with high defensive stats, to boot? Add that in with the Fairy type and this generation is basically a giant Dragon nerf. I agree, Dragon-types are getting raped in this Gen no matter how many Mega Evolutions they'll end up giving those pesky pseudo-legendaries. Yes, Amaura is cute and has a great ability, but personally I think I'll pick Tyrunt just because it's a goddamn Tyrannosaurus. I see we're going down the road of having a stupid-looking water starter have the coolest evolution again (as opposed to the inverse, which we had back in Gen 3), and I'm perfectly fine with that. Braixen and Quilladin look exceptionally weird, though. And no fire/psychic fox will be able to replace Ninetales D:< I disagree with all this, but I won't start an argument. I'll just say that I never thought Froakie looked stupid in the first place. And... did Steel really need to get nerfed? Steel, of all types? And taking away its dark resistance makes me fear for dark approaching OP levels. Nah, I doubt Dark will be OP now that it even has one more weakness. I do agree on Steel, though - pretty much the only good thing about it was its many resistances, but now it lost two of those.
