Finally, something completely different. I'm all for it.

So it's a Sandshrew. I don't think Wally will catch it, because he said this battle will be a cakewalk. That seems to indicate that he's going to finish the poor thing off as quickly as possible.
Haha, Brendan wants cake. (By the way, how the heck do Brendan and May know EVERYTHING Wally said and thought during his solo journey? Freaky.)

Oh yeah, the Gym Leaders. We know Viola trains Bugs, but Clemont, Grant and Korrina's Gym types are unknown at the moment. I bet Clemont trains either Steel- or Electric-types, but Korrina looks like she could be an Electric-type Gym Leader too. I'm pretty sure that there will be a Fairy-type Gym, because it's the new type and all. Then again, the Dark-type was introduced in Gen II, and we haven't had a single Dark-type Gym so far.

Us Mods have discussed this before, but so far Recon hasn't replied to us. It seems he just doesn't want to change the comics' dates and is insisting on keeping the schedule as it "should" be.

This isn't too bad, it'll just take some time getting used to. Of course, if it's possible for Recon to change it back, then I have no objections.

Yeah, Mega Kangaskhan has been confirmed. About time that baby got a role in the game.

At first I was shocked at this new revelation, but now I think it's pretty cool. I'm not sure if already powerful Pokémon like Lucario and Blaziken need MORE power, but at least these forms won't be permanent. Makes me wonder why they call them Mega Evolutions instead of Mega Forms. I've seen some great art of these new Mega Pokémon on DeviantArt and people seem to love to make L'Oréal jokes about Mega Ampharos. Also, I think Mega Absol looks like an alicorn.

Dear lord, so many new updates! Recon, you rock! So, Wally did catch that Numel at last, good for him. Too bad that eventually he will want to either release it or trade it away once it evolves. I don't remember if I've suggested this theory before, but perhaps the reason why Brendan is so mad at Wally is because Wally stole his Everstone... Nah, that'd be stupid. Not even Brendan is that petty. I hope. If I accidentally guessed right just now and killed your whole new-found motivation to make the comic again, Recon, then I am deeply, truly sorry and I pray that you'll be merciful and that you will forgive me some day. (Also, I appreciate that you fixed that Thunder Wave mistake. It would've been extremely sad if the comic had ended on a page with a type matchup error on it.) Moving on, Wally's battle plan was very clever. He lowered Numel's Attack so it would hurt itself less while confused so it wouldn't knock itself out. That's pretty smart. "You performed adequately", hahaha. Way to compliment your first Pokémon, Wally. Kirlia must feel so special. ;D So, Wally caught a Grimer, a Slugma and a Koffing as well, eh? Well, it's nice of him to catch some cool Pokémon for his friends in case they catch some greenies for him in return, but how many more green Pokémon there are left in Hoenn that no one in the gang has caught yet? I can think of only a few right now without checking, like Tropius, Kecleon, Rayquaza and some shinies. Oh well, Brendan has a Trapinch that will one day evolve into a Vibrava, so I guess there's one greenie for Wally right there, but I just wonder whether Brendan is dumb enough to trade a cool Dragon-type to Wally for any one of those three Neverused tier Pokémon... We'll see, I guess. Wally doesn't know if any of his Pokémon can learn Cut? Really? He has mostly Grass-types, and most Grass-types can learn Cut. In fact, I'm sure that some Grass-types can only learn one HM, Cut! Aaaahhh! The Old Lady is a mutant with terrifying, unnatural... healing... powers. Wow, that's not scary at all. It's just freaky, but as long as it's useful, who cares. You're doing very well, Recon, I'm proud of you. Keep it up. Recon: Thank you..

www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfSkvX_mlmMSeriously, wow, even I can't believe how long I was gone. I guess that the serious lack of updates and new topics drove me away, but now that Recon has updated several new pages since I last checked, I think I'll try to visit a lot more often, even if not as often as I used to. I've lurked a little during the past few months, but since you guys never talked about anything, I assumed that it was pointless and I nearly gave it up completely. However, I am still a Mod and all, so I promise I'll never leave again for as long as I'm sure that the comic isn't permanently, 100% dead for good. ...And I never even noticed that good ol' Venomfrog had deleted Sea Cottage. Damn.

Yeah, some people work crazy fast.
A Flying-type Eeveelution would be awesome, but I was kind of hoping that there wouldn't be any more Eeveelutions. Seven was quite enough in my opinion.

I liked the episode. I didn't want Discord to be reformed at first, but then I remembered that it's a kids' show and it has to have happy endings and such. Anyway, Discord was fantastic as always and even though the ending was quite rushed, I still liked how Discord seemed to truly want to keep his only friend. I suppose that like all monsters, he just wants to be loved.
By the way, I can't believe Twilight wanted to use a "reforming spell" after Celestia specifically told the Mane Six that she wanted Discord to use his magic obediently of his own free will. A reforming spell sounds like mind control to me, so Twilight's lucky that Discord ate the pages of the books it was on because otherwise she wouldn't have followed Celestia's orders.

Maybe it's not a glitch. Maybe it's just not easy to keep your glasses attached to your hat when you're swinging from a rope. I welcome the idea of a French Pokémon region, because it's the first known European region in the Pokémon world. I wonder how many generations it will take before they introduce a region based on Finland? No, don't you laugh at me and say it will never happen! Take a good look at this picture of the Pokémon planet: See Scandinavia in there?
