Okay, I know I've said this before, but I seem to have lost all my motivation to continue making art. I have many picture ideas, but I just can't find the time or the will to draw them. If I'm very lucky, I might be able to make something for this thread's third birthday or Halloween, but I'm afraid that's that. After Halloween, whether I'll upload a picture or not, I think I'll lock this thread for good. It's been fun, these three years when I've uploaded my art and made this art thread the biggest on these Forums, but I feel like it's time to quit. I owe it all to you - Out of this thread's over two hundred pictures, 54 are your requests. It's entirely possible that I will some day draw more art, but I think it's pointless to keep this thread hanging for weeks or months at times, so I will lock it and I don't think I'll reopen it. DeviantArt is the best place for art on the Internet, anyway.

It looks amazing. I am so sorry for not posting sooner. College has made me too busy. I have loved your whole thread and am sorry to see it locked. In the end it is your decision and I support whatever decision you make. Thank you do much for sharing your artistic talent here and I am sorry to see it go I love the Halloween pic and feel like you have captured all of the Pokemon well. It's just missing a houndour  but I love it overall |

Thank you, Swimming. It means a lot. And don't worry, once I get my art drive back, I'll upload all my future art on DeviantArt, so you can always check it out there. I've been spending a lot of time on DeviantArt lately... There are tons of great pony artists there.

I'll be honest, the drama queen thing is turning me off. I was about to comment on the Halloween picture until I saw that tidbit you threw in underneath it. Oh no! Someone didn't respond to a post full of text on an art thread! It's the WORST. POSSIBLE. THING.
Isn't the fact that we've stuck with you for 180 pages of art enough to know we appreciate your contributions? We all love you, SJ. Please just accept that already.

OK, I guess I am either very fickle or a filthy liar. Either way, I decided to reopen this thread because no matter what, I can't stop drawing art every now and then and also because I'm a total nobody on DeviantArt. Here's two pictures I've drawn since closing this thread in October:  Pregnant Flannery wants to catch a wild Litwick, but Migel is against the idea of her owning a soul-sucking candle demon while she's pregnant. I quite like this chibi style I used.  A stupid Trainer has a team of six Pokémon named as thus: Ga-Roaar the Onix Elblblbl the Electabuzz Cookie the Krabby Hea the Staryu Pop-Pop the Skiploom Bow the Dragonite He named them after what they say in the anime. Or then he is so stupid that he thinks that's what they're really called. So, tell me what you think and please forgive me for my drama queen-ness. I assure you, I won't be like that again. Also, expect a new picture later today. Today is Finland's Independence Day. |

Thanks, guys.   This is my way of honoring my great country today... That and wearing a blue-and-white t-shirt. A bear and a swan are Finland's national animals, so it's pretty obvious to see what I did here. Tell me what you think. |
