he's quite strong though. technically he should be weak to himself (that fire should melt the steel).

i dont think i've ever used heatran that much. i've usually stuck with my starter, a main legendary(usually rayquaza for fly) and then the rest r pkmn i'm training. exept in the Elite Four(with 5 ppl >>) then i go with 2 or 3 ubers and then 3 or 4 pkmn to train. i've always used the regis for Battle Tower tho. i got aa far as a 65 streak i think on my Sapphire. they each had superpower, zap cannon, and some other 3rd move i cant remember, then blizzard for regice, metal claw i think for registeel, and rock slide for regirock. i'm not sure if i kept those movesets wen i transfered them to Pearl tho. i've used other pkmn like shedinja & medicham too but i've always had the best luck with the regi trio...regigigas sucks tho. isnt a leader suposed to b stronger then the team? srsly regigigas. wtf

regigigas' ability is called slow start it means its attack is halved for the first couple of turns to account for the fact that it hasn't been in use for a while and because it has the joint highest attack in the game..

Slow start makes him, in some ways, not worth using

its there to make it fair, slaking can only attack on alternating turns.

That's why no one uses him (at least no one I know)

there are ways of getting around his ability, in double battles make sure your other pokemon has either skill swap or gastro acid.

Let's not discuss Slaking in a legendary thread.
