i know... has any1 ever had a legendary without its signature move? (unless it didnt learn it yet) Well, Ho-oh will no longer be packing sacred fire since its a physical move and Ho-oh doesn't have any physical attack-boosting stats. Also, a lot of lugia's didn't pack aero blast until the switch. |

sooo basicly Lugia's Manaphy's bodygaurd and Ho-oh's just there so the dogs have something pretty to stare at...

Ho-oh is the GUARDIAN of the the 3 dogs. He gave them life or something like that.

wen was Ho-oh said to b the gaurdian of the dogs? was it some pkmn ep or was it in a pokedex entry or something? and if its suposed to b their 'guardian' or leader or w/e it really should b a dog pkmn too. i usually just thought of em as "the other 2 legendary birds"

It is often considered to be closely related to Lugia, even sometimes as its polar opposite. Silver represents Lugia as "guardian of the seas", and Gold represents Ho-Oh as "guardian of the skies." bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ho-Oh_(Pokémon)thats all i could find about them, and by all i mean i'm very lazy and didn't want to find anything else. I quite like the back story of the Pokemon in the games. saying that they have backed themselves into a corner with Arceus. |

well if Arceus is the first Pokemon that created the Pokemon that created time and space the next set of games/anime/manga are going to have a hard time finding some new legendaries. Originally mew was supposed to be the first Pokemon so they'll probably think of something, hopefully.
